Home description
Our spacious apartment benefits from fantastic views across the golf course, which you can appreciate from the large sunny L shaped terrace. The lounge boasts a 32" Flat screen TV, 80 UK satellite channels, PS2 / DVD Player, CD Player and Telephone for incoming calls. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need and more including a juicer, coffee maker, washing machine and dishwasher. Air conditioning is found throughout together with heating (if you should ever need it).
Set on the prestigious La Torre Polaris World Resort, part of the Jack Nicklaus Golf trail, the apartment over looks the 18th tee and 10th green.
The apartment has the flexibility of accomodating up to 6 people as it comprises of 2 bedrooms (one with access to the balcony), both with twin beds, and a very comfortable sofa which doubles as a sofa bed in the lounge. There is also a dining table and 6 chairs. In the bathroom there is both a shower and bath.
The large sunny L shaped terrace has a table and parasol, 4 chairs & 2 sun loungers. Secure underground parking keeps your car nice and cool during the day, and there is lift access direct from the car park to the 2nd floor.
As the apartment overlooks the 18th tee you can stroll along the last hole to the village centre with its many restaurants, bars, supermarket and beauty salon/spa. This is no more than 5 minutes walk away.
The excellent championship golf course includes a driving range and practice area. There is also a free shuttle bus service running throughout the day to all of the other Polaris World resorts, on which you can play.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
With an average daily temperature of 21º, the Murcia area of Spain offers a lovely climate for year round holidays - long, hot summers for traditional family holidays, warm autumn and spring seasons (perfect for golf) and mild winters, ideal to get away from the colder climates of northern Europe.
The region is an unspoilt area of Spain, relatively new to tourism, but with the advantage of the La Manga holiday desintations and facilities close by and the traditional tourist attractions and theme parks of the Benidorm area around an hour's drive away.
Murcia is a vibrant cosmopolitan city with wonderful architecture, only 20 minutes drive from La Torre. There is a stunning cathedral with year-round exhibitions, wonderful shops and tapas bars. In the other direction, only 15 minutes drive away from the resort, are the glorious sandy beaches of the Mar Menor and La Manga.
The beautiful Mar Menor is separated from the Mediterranean by a strip of sand 22km long, which forms a barrier and has created a shallow, warm lagoon, perfect for children. In high season, at Los Alcazares only 15 minutes away by car, inflatable climbing walls and trampolenes can be found to keep children of all ages amused.
In total there are over 44km of beaches with protected bays and coves on the sides of the Mar Menor. The absence of tides make it an excellent location for all types of water sports. The concentration of salt and iodine in the water is also reputed to be beneficial to sufferers of rheumatism and skin complaints.
The port of Cartegena is also well worth a visit; as is the quiet fishing village of Cabo De Palos with its many fish and seafood restaurants.
La Torre Golf Resort / Polaris World, La Torre area
La Torre is one of several luxury resorts in the Polaris World network all within 20 minutes of each other and with a free shuttle bus service between them. Although it is based around a golf course it is a resort for all and many people choose to live here because of the excellent lifestyle and climate.
Services at the resort include a large supermarket, bars, restaurants, hair & beauty salon, healthcare centre, shops, a travel agency offering excursions to the region’s attractions, tennis, numerous communal pools, several children's playing areas and of course, golf! The club house offers live music, shows and events such as quiz nights etc.
As guests at the La Torre resort, our clients would enjoy access to all the Polaris World golf courses on the Jack Nicklaus Trail.
How to get there
The resort is easily accessible from either Murcia (San Javier) airport which takes around 20 minutes or Alicante airport which takes 50 minutes by car.
San Javier (Murcia) airport is only 15km away. Many UK airlines, including low cost carriers, now fly to San Javier. The best website we have found for flight comparisons / bookings is www.skyscanner.net. A car is recommended and the best deals we have found are from www.economycarrentals.com.
To Drive to La Torre from Murcia airport: Take 2nd exit at roundabout and continue towards AP-7 Alicante. Take exit 782 signposted Balsicas/Murcia - C3119. After approximately 15km (10 minutes) take the exit for Sucina (E)/El Garruchal which is after the windmill on the right hand side. Drive over the bridge and take the road marked Urbanizacion. You will then come to the entrance of La Torre on the right hand side.

Further details indoors: There is a Playstation 2 and a selection of games for our guests use and we can also arrange the rental of cots and high chairs for our younger visitors at an additional charge. In the apartment we have also left a brochure which we have put together with lots of useful information e.g. restaurants which we have enjoyed etc.

Conditions
A cleaning charge of 65 Euros per rental applies and is payable directly to the key holder upon your arrival (this will be slightly increased where more than 4 people occupy the apartment).
For an additional charge extra services include welcome packs and additional cleaning services etc.
All bed linen and towels are provided (excl. beach towels) and the apartment is well stocked with crockery/cutlery.
The interior of the property is strictly no smoking.
A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the full payment is required upon booking.
Full payment will be due no later than 6 weeks prior to departure.
For last minute bookings (under 6 weeks notice) full payment will be required upon booking.
The methods of payment accepted are cheque or bank transfer.
