About the home

The apartment is positioned on the 18th tee with extensive views of the 10th and 18th fairways, 2 communal pools and garden area with less than a 5 minute walk to the golf club social area, the town centre and the supermarket.

Located on the 2nd floor the property and can be accessed via stairs or lifts– The apartment and surrounding areas are very flat and totally wheelchair friendly.

There is a comfortable lounge diner with TV (including English channels), air conditioning and separate central heating. The kitchen and separate utility area are full equipped.

The balcony area has the advantage of the early morning sun through to lunchtime and the much needed shade later in the day / evening. There are magnificent and extensive panoramic views of the Golf Course and beyond to the club house, town centre and driving range.

The Murcia region

The Murcia Region is a privileged land, a perfect example of quality of life in the Mediterranean. Murcia's abundant clear and sunny days give the Region a highly distinctive, spectacular and warm Mediterranean light. The Murcia Region, a rendezvous between two seas.

Outstanding beaches of soft sand, clean water and dazzling sunsets. Known as the "Warm Coast", the Murcia Region shoreline runs just over 250 km and is shared by two seas: the Minor Sea (Mar Menor) and the Mediterranean. The landscape is peppered with breathtaking cliffs, heavenly secluded beaches of endless white sand, lively seaports and natural coves of crystal-clear waters.

Many of these areas are part of the Region’s network of Protected Natural Lands. A noteworthy geographical feature is La Manga, a strip of coastline that encloses and separates the 170 km2 Minor Sea lagoon from the Mediterranean, connected only by channels or gorges. The Minor Sea's warm waters have always been renowned for their health benefits.

Areas of ecological interest are also found, such as the San Pedro del Pinatar salt flats and the Calblanque Natural Park. Reservoirs, rivers and two natural parks make the Murcia Region a clean and highly appealing area for tourism. The inland areas of the Murcia Region offer a very rich heritage of natural landscapes and reserves. Dreamlike places that can be enjoyed by both those seeking peace and fresh air, as well as others who wish to supplement an intensive, active tourism offering with the respite of recreational areas.

Those looking to enjoy nature will find an activity that best matches their tastes: hiking trails, hill-climbing, on horseback or by foot. We'd like to recommend two not-to-be-missed alternatives. They are the Sierra Espuña and El Valle Natural Parks, which all can enjoy, whether seeking activities or relaxation.

The La Torre Golf Resort / Polaris World, La Torre area

There are many services on the resort for the use of residents and guests alike. Services include a large supermarket, bank, hairdressing and beauty salon, spa & healthcare centre and a travel agency offering excursions to the region’s attractions. All the communal swimming pools are for use by La Torre guests along with the tennis courts and many children’s playing areas.

GOLF
The resort has a superb 18 hole, par 69, golf course designed by Nicklaus Design that runs through the entire complex. Its spectacular design includes large bunkers and huge lakes, making it a challenge to players of all levels. The lakes play an important role as the game progresses, requiring of the player great skill and
composure. There are some impressive golf holes on this course.


RESTAURANTS & BARS

There are various restaurants and bars on this resort around the Clubhouse you will find:

ENCINA RESTAURANT
A superb restaurant offering buffet lunches and a la carte dinners. The restaurant has a lovely terrace with great views across the lake, plus luxurious indoor tables. An ideal venue for lunch and dinner.

PINO´S BAR
Upstairs in the clubhouse there are always good times to be had in Pino’s Bar, with live music and a varied entertainment program. A wide range of drinks and a comfortable atmosphere make it an ideal meeting place.

WOOD HOUSE BAR
After playing a round on the golf course, there is nothing better than having a drink whilst talking about the best shots of the game. The Wood House offers a good range of drinks and snacks as well as superb views from the terrace.

THE CLOVER IRISH PUB
An authentic Sports Pub that is ideal for tasting the great variety of excellent beers while watching a football match. There is live music and plasma screens broadcasting sports and leisure.

EL ROBLE TAPAS BAR
A bar specialized in Mediterranean tapas where eating is a real pleasure, where you can get to know in depth this important part of the gastronomy culture in South Spain.

LA ACACIA TRATTORIA
The wide menu of this restaurant is based on exclusive Italian products, offering starters, primari and segundi by which the guests will be able to make a gastronomic trip and discover the most emblematic dishes in Italy.
Large terraces on the lake provide unbeatable views and a warm atmosphere.

EL AVELLANO ICE-CREAM PARLOUR
Offering many different tastes of delicious ice-creams that will be the favourite dessert for many of us during the summer, this ice cream parlour simply must be visited.

BAMBOO
Located at the heart of La Torre Golf Resort, the Chill Out bar-restaurant, Bamboo, and its ample terraces are surrounded by an impressive swimming pool, with the large lake and the lush green golf course on the horizon. Bamboo offers a selection of different cuisines from around the world and features dishes from Thailand, India, the Middle East, Mexico and China among others. The variety and subtle flavours in this restaurant will delight all discerning food lovers. The truly special ambiance of Bamboo is best experienced when the restaurant really comes to life at dusk. As the sun sets the music begins and the relaxed atmosphere takes over, providing the perfect place to sip a refreshing cocktail as the sun goes down.

EL LIMONERO
This two-storey restaurant specialising in rice dishes overlooks the lake and offers a variety of rice dishes cooked on an open vine shoot fire. All rice dishes are perfect for eating in company and, in LIMONERO, this becomes a true pleasure, especially when the dish is a delicious traditional paella.


SHUTTLE BUS
Any guest staying on a Polaris World Resort can use the facilities and services of all the Polaris World resorts, including the golf courses, bars and restaurants. Polaris World operates a shuttle service to take guests between the resorts. These currently run four times daily but please check this as the service is subject to change as the resorts develop.
