Stylish and modern 2nd floor apartment on the prestigious La Torre Polaris World Resort; part of the Jack Nicklaus Golf trail. Well equipped and furnished to a high standard, the apartment occupies an enviable location overlooking a large pool, the golf course and gardens.
The apartment sleeps up to 4-5 people, comprising: 2 bedrooms both with access to balcony overlooking the pool (KS Italian leather bed & twin or SKS bed).

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
La Torre Golf resort is a 20 minute drive from Murcia City and a 15 minute drive from the airport (code MJV). The nearest beaches are also a 15 minutes away. You can drive to Cartagena in half an hour and Alicante airport is a 45 to 60 minute drive.
The Sierra Nevada mountain range is 2 and a half hour drive away and has excellent skiing in winter. Murcia is one of the regions with the sunniest days a year, an average annual temperature of 21º C, and 250 km of shoreline along two seas: the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean.
It is noted for being a land of contrasts, with mountainous national parks, southern basins with steppe landscapes, and wonderful beaches such as those of La Manga, Mazarrón and Calblanque.
La Torre Golf Resort / Polaris World, La Torre area
La Torre is one of several luxury resorts in the Polaris World network all within 20 minutes of each other and with free bus service between them. Although it is based around a golf course it is a resort for all and many people choose to live here because of the excellent lifestyle and climate.
For the golfer - The Nicklaus Golf Trail is a circuit which will boast 9-courses within a radius of 25 km and the best golf experience in Europe. Three courses are already up and running (La Torre, Mar Menor & El Valle), a fourth is opening in the first trimester of 2008.
The courses each have different characteristics and levels of play and the facilities adhere to the highest standards of quality and design. Besides these there are many championship courses within 45 minutes drive including the La Manga Club, Roda, La Serena, Hacienda Del Alamo, La Finca, Altorreal, Mosa Trajectum, Las Ramblas, Villa Martin and Campoamor.
How to get there
The resort is easily accessible from either Murcia (San Javier) airport which takes around 20 minutes or Alicante airport which takes 50 minutes by car.
Airlines - most of the major airlines such as Monarch, Easyjet, My Travel Lite, Jet 2, B.A., Ryan Air, BMI, Fly Be, Thomson.

To Drive to La Torre from Murcia airport: Take 2nd exit at roundabout and continue towards AP-7 Alicante. Take exit 782 signposted Balsicas/Murcia - 3119. After some time take exit for Sucina (E)/El Garruchal which is after the windmill on the right hand side. Drive over the bridge and take the road marked Urbanizacion. You will then come to the entrance of La Torre on the right hand side.

Further details indoors: The apartment is furnished very well as we use it 4-5 times per year and have it as a home from home. Most items you would wish to find are there already and there is a good selection of books, DVDS and children's games.
Both bedrooms have built in wardrobes, air conditioning and patio doors which lead to a balcony overlooking the pools.
The lounge has 2 leather sofas one of which will convert to make a double bed.
Hair-dryer & Hair straighteners. Cot. Baby seat. There are 2 single beds which can zip together to form a super king size if required.
Further details outdoors: Thers is a BBQ & patio furniture with Parasol. There are sunloungers and portable sunloungers to take to the beach and pool.

RESERVATION/SECURITY DEPOSIT: Upon confirmation of your booking, we require a reservation deposit of £150 to cover cancellations, breakages or damage to the property, fixtures & fittings.
Please note the booking shall not be confirmed until we have received the reservation payment in cleared funds.
This shall be refunded after a post inspection visit has been completed and your deposit shall be refunded within 14 days after your departure.
PAYMENT FOR HOLIDAY: Full payment for your accommodation will be due no later than 6 weeks prior to departure.
For last minute bookings (under 6weeks notice) full payment will be required immediately together with the reservation deposit.
The methods of payment we accept are cheque and bank transfer.
Conditions
A cleaning charge of 65 Euros per rental applies payable directly to the key holder upon your arrival.
The property is professionally cleaned between each let. Extra services include arrival food packs, additional cleaning services etc.
All bed linen and towels are provided (not beach towels). The apartment is well supplied with crockery/cutlery and all mod cons.
The property is strictly no smoking.

Guestbook for Polaris Holiday/ Golf Apmt
This is an exceptionally well appointed apartment where my Family and I (four of us) spent a week in June this year. It is an extremely comfortable place for a family to stay, with all the creature comforts you could wish for. The pool area is quiet and relaxing and perfect for kids, there is also plenty to do in the surrounding areas for those who don't play golf and fancy exploring the region. The supermarket and restaurants onsite are also very good.
I think my best conclusion is a comment from my four year old daughter at the end of the holiday, "Daddy, why can't where we live be more like this?" .....Quite! - Paul Chamberlain.
We went at half term this year and everyone had a great time (family of four 2 girls aged 10 & 8), the apartment is spacious, furnished to an exceptional standard, includes all modern appliances and offers all the home from home comforts you would expect in luxury accommodation. All resort facilities are less than 10 minutes walk and the beach/other restaurants are only 15 mins in the car. The pool facility is just outside (bit cool in Feb though) and has a play area for the kids. We are going back in July, would recommend to anyone especially golfers, families. - Ken Latham
