About the home

You could be enjoying our superb 2nd floor apartment furnished to a very high standard which has excellent views across 2 large communal pools and 1 small children's pool. The position of our apartment makes it very golf friendly as it is near to both the clubhouse and 1st tee, as well as for socialising as also just a very short stroll away from the town centre with numerous and varied bars & restaurants to choose from. The resort is very family oriented but also perfect for golfing breaks.

Ideal for both a relaxing holiday/break or for a sporting theme as golf is the number one attraction. At time of writing (Aug 08) there are 3 x 18 & 1 x 9 hole Jack Nicklaus designed courses all very near to each other. A shuttle bus is very convenient and allows a drink or two at the 19th hole! Plus there are 2 tennis courts on site as well as horse riding, cyling and exporing, such as the National Park, all just a short drive away.

You can enjoy both Spanish and British TV. We have BBC 1 & 2, ITV, Sky news and CBeebies for the children.
We also have Play Station 2 with some games. Enjoy!

Choose from formal to informal. There is an Italian restaurant, Tapas, paella, Oriental, traditional buffet & A La Carte all within 150 yards of our apartment. The Bamboo (Oriental) is also a bar and has regular live music. The Irish Bar (well it sells Guinness) also sells evening bar food. Travel 15 minutes to Los Alcazares (another beach area) and you will find numerous Al Fresco and covered restaurants to dine the afternoon or night away.

The Town Centre, apart from restaurants & bars has an ice cream parlour, gym, medical centre, bank & cash point, beauty saloon, perfumerie, club house & 2 tennis courts. Plus for your convenience and peace of mind there is a supermarket & 24 hour security gated entrances

The Murcia region

Unspoilt region of Spain, in that, as opposite to Costa Del Sol or Benidorm you could find. Family orientated and very 'Spanish'. Terrific golfing area where all courses are designed very differently.

Murcia is one of the regions with the most sunny days a year, an average annual temperature of 21º C, and 250 km of shoreline along two seas: the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean. It is noted for being a land of contrasts, with mountainous national parks, southern basins with steppe landscapes, and wonderful beaches such as those of La Manga, Mazarrón and Calblanque.

Cartagena is an old Moorish port, very traditional and attractive.

Murcia city is vibrant, alive with festivities and culture (oh, and shopping).

Murcia´s coastline is rich and diverse, areas of rough water contrasting with gentle coves and quiet beaches. Dunes, salt flats, wetlands... The coastline of Murcia Region contains a considerable number of areas of indisputable environmental interest, many of them Nature Reserves. Places where you can still find native flora and fauna such as the Phoenician juniper (Sabina mora), a native tree variety, and the "fartet" (Aphanius iberus), a minute and highly unusual fish, the only one of its kind.

The diversity of the landscape, the privileged climate and the cultural and historical richness make Murcia the perfect region to live in and enjoy the outdoors, practice water sports in the Mar Menor, explore its mountains, go hiking, rural tourism... and, of course, play golf.

As the sun sets the music begins and the relaxed atmosphere takes over, providing the perfect place to sip a refreshing cocktail as the sun goes down.

Encina Buffet La Torre: Lovers of the fine cusidine are sure to find ENCINA buffet quickly becomes one of their favourite restaurants. In a privileged location next to the lake, this restaurant offers a show cooking kitchen which prepares a wide range of meat, fish and other delicacies.

ACACIA:As if it were an authentic ´tratoria italiana´ in Rome itself, Acacia offers the best Italian cuisine in a privilegied location next to the lake. Limonero:This two-storey restaurant specialising in rice dishes overlooks the lake and offers a variety of rice dishes cooked on an open fire. All rice dishes are prefect for eating in company and, in LIMONERO, this becomes a true pleasure, especially when the dish is a delicious traditional paella.

Closed on Momday at lunch time. Opened from 20:00 to 23:00 pm.

Fly to either Murcia/San Javier (15 -20 minutes from apartment & resort) or Alicante (55 minutes).
Ryanair, Monarch, Easyjet & Jet 2 fly to Murcia/San Javier.

Plenty of car hire companies at the airport such as Centauro. Taxis from the airport to apartment/resort just 15-20 minutes away.

Regular courtesy coach runs between all Polaris World resorts/golf courses.
