A 5 STAR 2 bedroomed, ground floor fully furnished apartment located on the Polaris World La Torre Golf Resort. The Grand stand views of the 18th green are truly breathtaking on this Jack Nicklaus designed golf course.

Within a few seconds walk there is a swimming pool and children's splash pool.

Comfortable air conditioned spacious lounge/dining room with attractive furnishings. TV,Sky, DVD player and telephone. Patio doors open directly onto sun terrace overlooking the 18th hole with private sun terrace and stunning views, furnished with a table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco, garden furniture and sun loungers.

The kitchen and utility room are equipped with dishwasher, microwave, cooker, hob and washing machine.
The apartment has two twin bedrooms with fitted wardrobes. Two cots are available on request.

Bathroom includes WC, sink, shower and bath.

The apartment is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay. For golfers who wish to try out all the golf courses in the area and for couples wishing to relax and unwind.

The location of the apartment is ideal for all restaurants, bars and supermarket. There are four pools within close proximity.

The Murcia region

La Torre Golf Resort is located in Murcia, Southern Spain along the Costa Calida. The Murcia region enjoys fantastic weather all year round with over 320 days of sunshine a year. With pleasant temperatures in the winter months and lovely warm summer days, making it an ideal location for a golf holiday all year round.

The location is superb for family, relaxation and golf holidays. Just a short drive away are the safe sandy beaches of the warm Mar Menor waters. The closest beach is only 20 minutes away in Los Alcazares. Los Alcazares has many local amenities including restaurants, supermarkets and shops.

Along the coastline of the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean you will find miles of sandy, warm, beaches and coves. Starting from Torre de la Horadada, San Pedro, Lo Pagan to Los Alcazares there is a different type of beach for every day of your holiday.

The resort is close to two cities, Murcia the capital of the region and the port of Cartagena. At both you will find many places of interest to see, visit and experience Spanish city life.

The La Torre Golf Resort / Polaris World, La Torre area

La Torre Golf Resort is located close to Murcia airport and is perfect for breaks from the UK. Our apartment is all centred around the magnificent Jack Nickaus 18 golf course with extensive practice faciltites and club house.
It is a short drive from the beaches of the Mar Menor and numerous golf course including La Serena, Roda Golf, La Manga, Hacienda del Alamo, Mosa Trajectum, which are all with a 30 minute drive.
There are many small towns a short drive from the resort with great restaurants and beautiful promenades. The cities of Murcia and Cartegena are also within a 30 minute drive and are well worth a visit.

Horseriding-Located near to La Manga golf, you can venture on a 13km journey across terraced fields and through the natural beaches of Calblanque. On your journey you may want to stop of and visit the coves of Cabo Negrete. The riding stables have been established for many years and are run by an experienced team. A variety of horses, treks and routes are available. Take a horse and explore the beautiful La Manga countryside.

Nature- A wide range of natural parks can be visited in the Region of Murcia: from salty sea side flats to high mountains.
Sierra Espuña has more than 178 million square metres among the municipalities of Totana, Alhama de Murcia and Mula. More than two hundred protected forms of life, from eagles or owls to different types of endemic flora, live in this lush park with breath-taking mountains.

The Carrascoy y El Valle Regional Natural Park covers an area of more than 167 million square metres. Protected species living in the area include the Spanish royal owl (Bubo Bubo).
The Sierra de la Pila mountains conform a 78 million square metres Regional Natural Park, distributed among the towns of Abarán, Blanca, Molina de Segura and Fortuna. Different birds of prey, like eagles, falcons or owls among many others have their home in this mountain.

The Sierra del Carche mountains comprise more than six million square metres of protected land. Here eagles, owls and other birds of prey can be observed.

The Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro park is in San Pedro del Pinatar, covering more than eight million square metres. Dunes and salty flats conform this area of great interest for bird watchers and nature lovers in general. Migrating birds like flamingos create also wonderful views when stopping by each semester.

The Calblanque, Monte de las Cenizas y Peña del Águila is one of the most impressive parks in the region, mainly for its completely unspoilt coast, a treasure to be enjoyed by all who visit.

And last but not least, the Cabo Cope-Puntas de Calnegre park area is shared by Águilas and Lorca, comprising part of the Lorca coastal area. Both flora and fauna (including the Spanish Moorish Turtle, Testudo graeca) are very interesting in this coast-side Natural Park.

Skiing/Snowboarding- Many people only associate Spain with sand and sun and are surprised to find that Spain also offers a wide range of winter sports. Spain's number one location for winter sports, the Sierra Nevada is located approximately 2 hours drive away. Located above Granada, it has the best snow and the longest season in the country. The ski resort Pradollano in the Sierra Nevada which hosted the 1996 World Alpine Ski Championships holds the distinction of being Europe’s most southerly ski resort (you can see Morocco on a clear day!)

It’s an ideal resort for those seeking a taste of Spain combined with all the services and facilities you’d expect to find in popular Alpine ski villages. Sierra Nevada has 61km of ski slopes with 45 pistes and 6 off-piste routes. There are 2 cable cars, 12 chair lifts and 5 ski lifts. You can even ski at night at weekends and bank holidays. Night skiing was introduced in 1994 with lighting along the El Rio slope (3km/545 vertical drop).
If you have never been to Sierra Nevada because you haven't got the essential gear, then that's no longer a valid excuse for everything you need can be hired on a daily basis. If your excuse is that you can't ski then forget that too for there is no shortage of schools that will assist everyone from beginners to experts.

With the resort being just 30 minutes away from the city of Granada, nowhere else in the world can you be playing golf in the sun then within such a short time, be skiing or snow-boarding at a top resort. As well as snowboarding Sierra Nevada offers many other winter sports including cross-country skiing, artistic skiing (ballet, jumps, moguls), telemark skiing, trekking and adventure skiing.

Nearest airport is Murcia/San Javier -MJV which is only 10 minutes away.

Alicante - ALC is about 55 minutes.

Most of the low budget flights use one or both airports.

Car Hire available from airport or a taxi will be about 35 euro to the resort (from San Javier).
Car hire is essential if you wish to travel around local area and make trips to the beaches and towns, but is not required if you intend to stay on the resort for your holiday duration.

“An excellent location with something for all.” The accommodation provides everything a family of 4 could possibly need for a great holiday. Its literally a dozen steps from the back gate to the 18th fairway and the sun shines on the sun terrace all day. The air conditioning allows you to cool down once inside if desired and the freeview box allows access to a number of british TV channels. There are any number of swimming pools with one literally 40 metres from the apartment. The main hotel pool is a little further away but does provide sun loungers and towels along with a poolside bar if preferred. The resort is also only a 10-15 minute drive from Los Alcazares which is a lovely resort with any number of top class restaurants at very reasonable prices, as well as a fabulous beach for the kids. Definitely a place we look forward to visiting again
