About the home

Our luxury fully airconditioned, centrally heated apartment is ideally situated on the 5* La torre golf resort.It is located at the end of a peaceful cul-de-sac and overlooks the 3rd tee and fairway of the magnificent 18 hole golf course with the mountains beyond. The pool is immediately below. La Torre town centre with its themed restaurants, bars and clubhouse are a short 5 minute walk away.

If you can manage to drag yourself away from the resort and explore the surrounding area you will not be disappointed. A 15 minute drive will take you to the delightful spanish resorts along the Mar Menor with their beautiful sandy beaches. Hikers will find wonderful walks in the nearby Sierra Espuna.

There are many quaint villages nearby with typical Spanish restaurants offering menu del dia for an unbelievable 9 euros.

Conditions

£100 deposit is required to secure the bookings. Until this received in cleared funds the booking is not secured.
Balance is due 6 weeks prior to holiday date along with £150 damage deposit.

The deposit is refundable within 2 weeks of departure. 55 euros to be left on departure with return of keys for end clean. If a wecome pack is required this can be provided for a small charge of 15 euros.

The Murcia region

The Costa Calida is the warm coast with 320 days of sunshine per year. Even in winter the temperature rarely goes below 17 degrees C. Within 15 minutes drive you have the spanish reorts of Santiago de la Ribera, Lo Pagan. Los Alcazares. All have long sandy beaches, restaurants, bars and shops. Sailing and windsurfing are poular sports in these warm waters and dinghies can be hired at all resorts. Sailing tuition is offered at a number of watersport centres.

A 30 minute drive north will bring you to the resorts of Pilar de La Horada and Torre de La Horrada on the Mediterranean.A trip to Pilar may be combined with a trip to Pilar's cinema which shows English films at the weekend for an entrance of only 5 euros.You may care to visit the Asia Chinese restaurant afterwards where you can have a wonderful meal with wine and coffee for 7 euros. For curry lovers the Jaipur Palace 5 minutes from La torre should not be missed and again at very reasonable prices.

Guests who like walking will not be disappointed. there are wonderful walks and magnificent scenery in the Sierra Espuna and whilst there a visit to the monastery of the Hermitage should not be missed.

This area of Spain is setting out to be the golfing capital of Spain and it is well on its way to attaining that title. Golfers now could experience a different golf course within a 15 minute drive of La torre every day of the week

The historic cities of Murcia and Cartagena are easily reached by car. Murcia can also be reached by bus which stops outside La torre or by train from Balsicas 5 minutes away.

The La Torre Golf Resort / Polaris World, La Torre area

La Torre Golf resort is truly a 5* resort and provides an ideal holiday for golfers and families. The golf course is an 18 hole course designed by ack Nicklaus. the handicap required is 28 for men and 36 for ladies.

The golf course facilities include a driving range, putting green, pro shop, club hire, buggy hire, cart hire, and tuition is available.

Guests at La torre are entitled to use all the facilities of the other Polaris resorts, including the golf courses.

The town centre has 3 themed restaurants built onto and around the lake, an Irish Bar, clubhouse, ice cream parlour and live entertainment every weekend.

There is also a well stocked supermarket which will deliver, a hair and beauty salon, a fitness centre. numerous swimming pools and children's play areas and tennis courts
