This beautifully furnished fully air conditioned 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa with private pool and fully fenced garden is situated in a quiet location but within easy walking distance of the many Polaris World resort amenities. We have endeavoured to make the facilities in the villa second to none to cater for the golfer, friends and family alike.

Dine on the patio beside the 8m x 3m private swimming pool or choose the large roof terrace to top up the tan. Cool down in the large pool and send the kids inside to play the supplied Xbox on the large LCD TV.

The resort incorporates a 18-hole Jack Nicklaus golf centre, numerous stylish restaurants and bars, tennis courts, communal swimming pools, large supermarket, health and beauty centre and much more. The Costa Calida/Murcia region

At La Torre you are situated ideally for access to the unspoiled coastline of the famous Mar Menor and also the ancient and beautiful city of Murcia. Should it be history, the beach, water sports, shopping, national parks and of course golf then you can find it all in abundance in the La Torre Locale.

The Mar Menor, a 15 minute drive away, is a huge (135 square kilometres) salt-water lagoon, separated from the Mediterranean by the 24 kilometre long La Manga del Mar Menor (The Strip). The average depth of the Mar Menor is four metres and at its maximum it is seven metres which means that the seabed slopes very gradually and you have to get several hundred metres in before the water is of any depth. It has countless sandy beaches, Los Alcazares a particular favourite with it’s blue flag sandy beaches.

The Mar Menor is famous for its mineral content which when combined with the sun produces a ‘mud’ famous for its healing properties. So don’t be surprised to see people covered in mud strolling along the beaches.
The Mar Menor as you would expect plays host to all the water sports you can imagine and with its shallow non-tidal waters and warm temperatures it’s perfect for beginners. The waters of the Mediterranean and the famous La Manga strip can be found at the far side of the Mar Menor. It’s quite a sight to see the warm calm waters of the Mar Menor on one side and the loud roaring waves of the Med on the other.

There is the port town of Cabos de Palos and the lighthouse city Cartagena, both with fabulous seafood restaurants and markets.

Murcia city is 20 minutes from La Torre and merges the historic and the modern, it’s a haven for shoppers whilst at the same time a mecca for architecture students with it’s beautiful buildings, small alleys and a splendid 14th century cathedral in the heart of the city.

On the other side of Murcia city (10 minutes further along the motorway) Terra Natura have just opened a new wildlife and water park, here you can visit over 300 different kinds of animals.

La Torre Golf Resort / Polaris World, La Torre area

La Torre is the second of seven gated golf and leisure resorts that Polaris is to build in the Murcia region. The Mediterranean style resort is made up of whitewashed apartments, town houses and villas. The centre piece of the resort is a town centre which lies at the side of a lake. The town has bars, numerous restaurants and shops. There is a large supermarket that stocks all the food, wine and drink that you’ll require for your stay.

Dotted throughout the tree lined avenues of the resort are 12 communal swimming pools and tennis courts and as guest you are able to use them all. Of course wherever you are in the resort the golf course is never far away. The 18 hole Jack Nicklaus designed course is a pleasure to play and a test for all handicaps

The Nicklaus Golf Trail will see an incredible 9 Jack Nicklaus Designed golf courses in a 25km radius. Each course will have different features and games levels. With a different challenge to be faced every day then there’s no need to wait till tomorrow.

Designed by Nicklaus Design, the La Torre Golf Resort course offers 18 holes, par 68 and four sets of tees. Provisional distances (metres): (black) 5,350; (blue) 4,934; (white) 4,422; (red) 3,822.

How to get there

The Resort is located in Spain’s Costa Calida just 20 minutes from the charming city of Murcia and 15 minutes from the famous Mar Menor beaches.

The airports of Alicante which is 40 minutes away and Murcia’s San Javier 15 minutes away have many flights to Europe's major cities. Airlines include EasyJet, Ryanair, FlyGlobeSpan and numerous others.

Washing machine, iron, iron board and clothes horse. Ample room to store golf clubs. Tennis racquets and balls also available.

A beautiful spacious living room with brown leather sofa bed and 2 brown leather 2 seater, dining table with 4 chairs. LG 32 inch LCD television with DVD player, Xbox with 20+ games and satellite TV with all major UK Sky channels and MP3 speaker system.

A large private roof terrace with ample space for dining and bathing.

Towels and linen are included with the property. A charge of 75 Euros is mandatory for clean up after stay. Extra linen change can be arranged.

A larger than average 8m x 3m private pool with shower is for your own private use. There is a large patio with dining table and with 6 chairs and large parasol. There is a large stone BBQ for that authentic cooking experience. There are also 4 sunbeds provided for relaxing and soaking up the sun.

"Excellent villa, very clean with a fantastic pool. The property was located in a quiet area of the complex but we were able to walk into the village within ten minutes to enjoy all the facilities. The tapas bar El Roble is our favourite. The neighbours who meet you when you arrive were very helpful and were on hand if we required anything. The whole experience from booking to our departure was first-class."
