The Costa Calida/Murcia region

La Torre Golf resort is situated within the region of Murcia and is 20 minutes drive from the Costa Calida beaches which boast some of the best beaches within the area. The Mar Menor is a popular destination for all ages with the beautiful beaches of the Mar Menor lagoon that over looks the La Manga strip. Other than the fantastic choice of Golf courses, beaches and other water sports in the area there is something for everyone to do and see, including visits to the historic cities within the area of Murcia, Cartagena and Lorca. The Costa Calida area enjoys on average over 300 days of sunshine per year and highs well in the 30`s during the summer months and day time lows of approx 15-20 degrees out of season.

La Torre Golf Resort area

There is something for everyone within the area from Golf to shopping, sightseeing to fishing and a whole lot more.... You can be almost anywhere within the region within an hour , from rural inland, city centre or by the sea which means theres alot to do. Murcia and Cartagena now boasts some of the best out of town shopping experiences with the area. If its a bargain you want you can catch a market 7 days a week within the area, sampling some of the superb fresh fruit and veg which is grown direct from the region of Murcia. There are many sporting activities you can enjoy in the area from golf, tennis, all watersports, fishing, horse riding, quad biking, go-karts, scuba diving and loads more.... If a water fun park is a key feature of your holiday you wont be disapointed as there is 2 within 30 minutes drive of La Torre aswell as a new zoo thats just opened in the summer of 2007. Boat trips are also available form San Javier and a daily passenger ferry runs regulary between the San Javier and the La Manga strip for less than 5 euros per person. If Wine is your thing there are 2 well known wine regions within Murcia, firstly there is Jumilla and then theres Bullas. Both of which have many bodegas where you can go and sample some of the local wines and you can even treat your self to a bottle to take home(wine prices vary, but wine is as cheap as less than 2 euros for a good bottle).

How to get there

Most Budget airlines fly into Murcia airport (San Javier) which is 20 minutes away by car, alternatively Alicante airport is approx 1 hour away and will give greater choice of flights/times etc. Car hire from either airport is available and companies such as www.carjet.com will help get the best deals available. If you dont want to hire a car, then there is an airport transfer service available with this property, please ask for more details.

This Luxury apartment is fully equipped and fully air conditioned throughout. It has a telephone for internal calls only, but you can make outgoing calls within the resort to book tee times, tables at restaurants etc. Satellite tv has been installed with over 20 english speaking channels including BBC, ITV, The Golf channel, Music channels etc. There is facilities to have the internet on Pay-as-you-go basis also. Bedroom 1, the master room has twin beds with bedside tables with drawers, plus fitted wardrobes with additional drawers. Tv also in master bedroom. Bedroom 2, has twin 3ft beds, the room also has a bedside table plus fitted wardrobes also with drawers. Bedroom 3, has twin 3ft beds, the room also has a bedside table plus fitted wardrobes also with drawers.The main bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, heated towel rail, large wash-hand basin, bidet and toilet. Second bathroom has shower cubicle, sink and toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped with all mod cons and there is also a separate utility area too. With 2 large terraces there is plenty of space for out door living and sun bathing in total privacy. Central heating is also installed within this property. Please note that you will require your own beach towels for lounging and by the pool.

There is a table and six chairs on the terrace aswell as some sun loungers for total relaxation. There are large communal gardens with a large communal pool within walking distance. several kids play areas are also situated on resort. Tennis courts are also available on site. Polaris also operates a shuttle bus between other Polaris sites free of charge, which gives acces to other fantastic 5 star golf resorts, spa, restaurants and bars.
