About the home

The penthouse is fully furnished to the highest of standards both interior and exterior. The lounge has a huge black leather corner sofa, along with Air conditioning, full central heating, double glazing, 32" flat screen TV, with full TV Plus package, DVD player, i pod docking station. The kitchen and utility room is home from home with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, all crockery and cutlery is of a very high standard. The master bedroom has a Kingsize bed with tempur mattress and the 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds with feather pillows cotton sheets and duvets ( for winter) with fitted wardrobes bedside cabinets with lamps, and balconies. One of the south west facing terraces boasts an outdoor settee with 2 armchairs and a coffee table which is great for outdoor living, along with sun loungers, and the other terrace has a dining table and chairs for al fresco dining. There is also a huge walk in room on the terrace which will be ideal for suitcase storage and also golf bags, surf boards, sunbeds, lilos etc.

The 18 hole golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus is at the heart of the resort . There are 2 other Nicklaus courses open and a third on the way all within 20 mins of La Torre. There are at least 10 other golf courses in the same area from La Finca to the north of La Manga also Roda Golf (Dave Thomas designed). There is also a superb driving range on site with instruction available. A handicap cert may be required.

The Penthouse has a superb interior with no expense spared, and as you step out onto the huge terraces you have an open aspect with views of the golf course and mountains and also pool views. This means no walking to pools and the Supermarket is on your right of the penthouse and the Club House and other bars and restaurants on your left. Anyone who has visited La Torre will understand the size of this resort and appreciate that having these amenities so close is an absolute luxury, especially in the summer months when it can be so hot !

Further details outdoors:
Having been spoilt with 2 really large terraces both south west facing and 1east facing. I really feel we have the best of both worlds. You can get up and have breakfast on the east facing terrace watching the sun rise and see the early golfers on the course. Then you can soak up the sun all day on the sunny terrace (if you can stand the heat), then come early evening you can watch the sun set on the main terrace along with a glass of wine or you could have your evening meal out there. The list is endless!

The town centre which is literally 2 mins walk away has 6 bars and restaurants ranging from Italian, Tapas an Irish sports bar and also the infamous Club House which also serves food and has entertainment on, they really have thought of everything. For the kids there is an internet cafe which is dominated by youngsters all wanting to speak to their friends at home, pool tables, tennis courts not forgetting an abundance of pools and jacuzzis all of which you have access. There is also a hairdressers, 5 * Intercontinental Hotel which also has bars restaurants,an indoor pool, spa,beauty and health and fitness centre.

The Murcia region

Costa Calida is most famous for its 250km of of beaches offering over 300 days of sunshine throughout the year with temperatures averaging an amazing 21 degrees. The beaches of Los Alcazares and San Pedro are around 15 mins from La Torre and are easy to reach. Polaris have however got plans to have a private shuttle bus to and from a stretch of private beach which they have just secured for polaris owners.

Murcia City is around 25 mins from La Torre and you can find both traditional Spanish Restaurants and also Chic Boutiques at a fabulous new shopping mall just next to the Football Stadium easy road links make this very accessible. There is also a water park just opened with entry to the Zoo just on your way to Murcia City.

“Fantastic” This is the 3rd year in a row at La Torre and the 2nd time at the Penthouse. The resort is very clean and tidy and the layout is very nice indeed. I have always found the area to be very quiet and perfect for a relaxing holiday. The amenities are very good with the 'town centre' and supermarket only a 2 minute stroll from the Penthouse. The golf course is shorter than the other courses on the Jack Nicklaus trail but it is perfect in the warm weather. The Penthouse itself is very well kitted out and the terrace area is especially impressive. It is very private and just the right place to enjoy a perfect holiday. I will definitely be going back!

“Just as good as our first stay” At last,our return visit - 10 days of absolute heaven! Everything was just as we remembered, we could want for nothing more well, apart from a longer stay! First Class accomodation, comfort and cleanliness alongwith its various large sun terraces each capturing a different view, perfect weather and golf on our doorstep. Supermarket is excellent and only 2 mins walk away. All in all another first class, safe and enjoyable holiday. Thanks again Sharon and Jack Derek, Becky and Katie - Cumbria

“exactly as advertised” stayed for 5 days for a nice relaxing break away. got exactly what we wanted. couldn't have asked for more. apartment had everything we needed including a fantastic sun terrace which we used every night. supermarket a 5 minute stroll away which was well stocked and reasonably priced. did'nt go in the pool as it was a bit chilly in may but was clean and well maintained. overall this ticked all the boxes for us and would highly reccomend this apartment
