Home description

This house is situated on the southern Zone of La Torre Golf Resort. It is handy for the communal pool and Tennis Courts. It is decorated to a very high standard and will make anyone who stays feel welcome and comfortable, a must for an enjoyable holiday.
The garden is full of wicker garden furniture which makes for a perfect dining setting.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region

The La Torre Golf Resort is located in Costa Calida, one of the most beautiful regions of Spain it is blessed with wonderful beaches, mountains, orange and olive groves.
Ideally situated 10 minutes drive from wonderful beaches and 20 minutes from the stunning traditional town of Murcia which is flanked by mountains.

One of the sunniest areas of Spain with 310 sunny days per year. Costa Calida is still relatively quiet and unspoilt, a refereshing change from the hustle and bustle of the Costa del Sol.

Murcia is a 13th Century walled town only 20 minutes drive north from the resort. If you are looking for some Spanish culture, this is the place. With many buildings dating back to the 13th Century, museums, cathedral, theatre.

If you are seeking some cool mountain air, you can find the mountains just behind Murcia town, perfect for hikers.

If you want a day at the beach, head south for a 10 minute drive to the village of Los Alcazares. (no high rise here) Situated on the Mar Menor (small sea) this beach is actually Europe's largest seawater lagoon although you can only just see the small strip of land that makes it a lagoon. The water is shallower and 5c warmer than other beaches along this coast and perfect for children or learning watersports. Los Alcazares has a splendid 2 mile palm tree lined promenade, dotted with beach cafes and restaurants.

La Torre Golf Resort is characterized by truly Mediterranean-style, white-washed properties and wide avenues flanked by trees, fountains and gardens. Structured around a large, 18 hole golf course, designed by Nicklaus Design, the 1.4 km2 resort features tennnis courts and 8 swimming pools.

The La Torre main building offers a large pool and spa/jacuzzi, restaurants, bars and cafes, there is also a supermarket. All within 10 minutes walk from the townhouse.

So what will you do today? Play golf or tennis, stay on the resort and enjoy lovely swimming pools. Or maybe you will head to Murcia and experience some 13th century spanish culture, eat tapas in the main Plaza surrounded by frescoed buildings. Alternatively a day on the beach at Los Alcazares with lunch at one of the many fresh fish restaurants. Whatever your choice, you wont' be disappointed!

How to get there

Directions from St Javier airport are:
Turn right on exiting airport and proceed to roundabout. Take 2nd exit off roundabout for Murcia onto AP7 motorway. Leave motorway at Murcia 3319 exit. Travel approximately 10k and take exit for Succina el Garuchal and proceed back over motorway via flyover. Turn left then right onto service road signed urbanisation and carry on until entrance for La Torre.
