The Murcia region

A beautiful region, easy to travel around by car. Murcia city is a short drive away with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars, as well as the Cathedral and other placesof interest in the old quarter.

The Costa Calida is a 15 minute drive away. The coastline provides numerous beaches, ports and marinas to visit. The Mar Menor is the salt water lagoon near La Manga which is ideal for a range of watersports.

There are also regular local markets around the area.

Designed by Nicklaus Design, the La Torre Golf Resort course offers 18 holes, par 68 and four sets of tees. Provisional distances (metres): (black) 5,350; (blue) 4,934; (white) 4,422; (red) 3,822 This course features over five hectares of sophisticated bunkers that separate the holes, creating strategic points which provide added value to the shots. Plus, a denser grass has been planted around the bunkers, creating the optimum wind shot effect. Three lakes complete the exuberant landscape of this course. One of the shorter courses, the La Torre Golf Resort is ideal for both average players and those with a high handicap. At the same time, La Torre Golf Resort preserves the challenge for experienced players who, teeing off from the furthest tee, will have to devise the appropriate strategy to cover the fairway with the perfect shot. Completed with all the perfect features for practice, La Torre Golf Resort is undoubtedly a mandatory stopover for golf players.

There are regular buses running to other Polaris courses - El Valle and Mar Menor.

“perfect location and apartment” Just returned on the 26th Oct from a weeks stay at this apartment on the resort of La Torre. I cant recomend enough this apartment and the process I went through renting it. The owner was helpful from the start and ensured we were met on arrival to help us settle in and explain necessaries of the apartment. It is situated on the ground floor within very close distance to 2 large pools and one baby pool. One of the pools was closed due to work being carried out but one was more than adequate for us and our young children. Our children aged 4, 8 and 11 (all boys) had a great week and although the pools were a little chilly were not put off by this. The apartment was very comfortable and a real home from home. There were toys in the apartment for my younger son to play with and 2 sets of golf clubs and tennis raquets etc to use if required. It was also situated 1 minute walk from the superkmarket which wasnt priced too badly and a similair distance from the hotel, bars and restaurants. Perfect location!!!! The resort itself was very quite this time of year there was only 2 restaurants and 2 bars open in the village on the resort, but again it was enough for us as we also made use of the closely located restaurants on the industrial estate nearby. Dont be put off by the appearance of the restaurants and bars on the industrial estate, they provide a decent level of food and drink. We will be returning next year, maybe a litlle earlier in the year so our kids have more children to engage with, but i can honestly say we all fell in love with the apartment and resort.

We spent 1 week at this apartment July 2010. Had an amazing time and found the apartment excellent! The communication between the owner and myself was fantastic and also the keyholders were a great help. The apartment was very clean, and had everything we needed even down to toys for our 3year old boy to entertain himself. There were a variety of dvds and books for us to enjoy while little one was in bed. The complex is gorgeous, very safe, and the pools were fantastic. With this being a ground floor apartment it was ideal for us with a toddler and had fenced patio :)

We had a fantastic holiday, the apartment was so homely - absolutely ideal for what we needed! The pool was great for the kids who were in it everyday! The boys enjoyed the golf as well.
