The 5* La Torre Golf Resort is located within easy reach of the sandy shores of the Mar Menor, the historic cities of Murcia and Caravaca de la Cruz, a number of other magnificent golf courses in the region and the local airport of San Javier (Murcia). Visitors to La Torre are able to enjoy the facilities at all of Polaris World's resorts including Mar Menor and both El Valle and Hacienda Riquelme which are due to open shortly.
Our lovely apartment, which sleeps up to 6 people, is just a minute from the large swimming pool (and children's pool) and has magnificent views accross the golf course, the lake and the very attractive communal areas. The resort's facilitis are all just a few minutes walk away including the supermarket, children's play areas, the tennis courts, the club house and the town centre area with its delightful plaza.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
The Costa Calida translates to "the warm coast" which is certainly true with over 320 days of sunshine per year and the World Health Organisation has described Murcia as one of the healthiest places in the world to live. Murcia is one of the main agriculture regions of Spain and the abundance of fresh, delicious fruit and vegatables is wonderful.
La Torre Golf Resort area
La Torre's main sporting opportunity is golf and the magnificent 18 hole Jack Nicklaus course offers a challenge to the keenest of golfers. Designed similar to the American style golf resort, La Torre offers every facility you could need and is close by to other amenities like ten-pin bowling, horse riding, diving, Spas, commercial areas, restaurants, bars, culture etc.
How to get there
The resort is located just 15 minutes from the local airport of San Javier (Murcia) where most budget airlines fly to from just about every UK airport and also from many european airports too. Ryan air, Easy Jet, British AIrways, Thompson and others offer regular cheap flights.
Alicante airport is an alternative and is just 45 minutes drive from the resort.
Car hire is easily available from all the well known companies like Hertz and local companies offer airport pick up too. Try Polaris Cars via their main website at www.polarisworld.com for an efficient and well priced service.

Conditions
* Smoking is allowed but ONLY on the terrace. * Towels must not be used outside of the apartment please. * A refundable breakages deposit of £150.00 is required at the time of booking and will be refunded within 2 weeks of your return home following a succesful inventory inspection. * A charge of €65 to be left at the end of your stay in the apartment to pay for cleaning. * Cancellation of your booking within 4 weeks of departure will result in the loss of your deposit.
