About the home

The frontline villa is located on the private gated Polaris World 5-Star Golf & Spa Resort. It is ideally located on the Costa Calida in sunny south-east Spain, 15 minutes away from the beautiful Mar Menor. Benefiting from enviable frontline golf views it is perfect for golfers or families/couples wanting a relaxing break.

The two-bedroom, two-bathroom villa is furnished to a high standard and benefits from airconditioning, ceiling fans and central heating for the cooler months.

On the groundfloor is the main entrance area, lounge/dining room, kitchen, bathroom (with extra large shower enclosure), twin bedroom with fitted wardrobe and terrace backing onto the golfcourse. Outside lighting creates a relaxing environment during the evenings.

On the first floor the double bedroom has patio doors leading directly onto the balcony overlooking the golfcourse with further views of the mountains. Outside lighting also enables the balcony to be used into the evening. There is a large wardrobe providing plenty of storage. The main bathroom is fitted to a high standard.

This is a perfect location for a summer holiday or winter break.

We are able to cater for larger groups if required. We have access to similar properties nearby if you have a group that would like to be within walking distance of each other. Our property is located on Lubina.

Parking is on the driveway in front of the house.

LCD TV with digital channels. Bring a selection of DVDs and watch your favourite movies in the evening. A selection of games is also provided. The telephone enables internal calls to be made within the Resort. External calls can be received at the villa.

The Murcia region

Beaches

Los Alcazares on the Mar Menor has some of the finest beaches on the Costa Calida. The local promenade has numerous bars, cafes and restaurants selling local delicacies. A short walk inland and you are in Los Alcazares town centre.

San Pedro Del Pinatar beaches are also on the Mar Menor with wide promenades, children's play areas, local bars and cafes.

Santiago De La Ribera has a newly refurbished promenade leading onto sandy beaches with more cafes and restaurants to relax in. You can also enjoy a ferry trip across the Mar Menor to La Manga.

Torre De La Horadada has smaller more private coves offering seclusion and clear waters. Cafes and bars are never too far away should you need them.

Shopping

Murcia, the capital of the region, is rich in culture and Spanish history. There is a superb cathedral and a several museums including the Archaeological Museum, Fine Arts Museum or the Salzillo Museum. There are also high street shops, department stores and near the cathedral, small lanes with little shops and boutiques.

Murcia also has the Neuva Condiminium Shopping Centre – an indoor shopping mall with Spanish and UK high street brands. The Thader Shopping Centre – is a more Mediterranean style shopping centre offering a huge Eroski Supermarket, a cinema, a bowling alley and a wide variety of shops and restaurants. Opposite is an Ikea Superstore.


Fun days out

Terra Mitica: a classic theme park experience giving a fun day out for all the family.

Aqualandia: a great water-park, offering a full day for all the family.

Terra Natura is split into four areas, America, Asia, Europe and Pangea. See how animals live in their natural habitat and discover the people and places of each region. See shows and entertainers and have fun in the aqua park which is open in the summer.

The La Torre Golf Resort area

The Resort

Polaris World’s La Torre Golf Resort is located on the Costa Calida near Murcia in sunny South East Spain.

This brand new resort is minutes from the Mediterranean beaches and is one of five Polaris World Resorts in the Murcia area. Ideally located, San Javier Airport is just 15 minutes drive and only 45 minutes to Alicante.

La Torre is the ideal location for year round holidays with average temperatures of 21c.

Access to the resort is through a secure gated entrance lined with palm trees. Once inside the resort there are landscaped grounds, fountains and lavish planting throughout creating a relaxing Mediterranean environment.


Restaurant & Bars

La Torre Resort Clubhouse is located in the centre of the resort. Here you will find Pino’s Bar and the Wood House Bar with additional seating outside on the terraces overlooking the grounds and golf course.

La Encina Restaurant offers a superb choice of cuisine. The town centre near the club house has a further selection of bars/restaurants.

Jaipur Palace Indian Restaurant 5 minutess from La Torre (well recommended). Takeaways/deliveries are available.

Los Alcazares has a number of restaurants offering a wide range of cuisines & local Spanish food.

The five-star Intercontinental Hotel has a relaxing bar and a stunning restaurant ideal for a special occasion.


Swimming Pools & Sports facilities

Large luxury pools are located throughout the resort. The nearest pool to the villa is just a 5 minute walk away.

Golf

18 hole Jack Nicklaus Designed Course. A Par 68, 5350 metre course offering great golf for all. The minimum handicap for men is 28 and 36 for women. It has three lakes and five hectares of bunkers. The golf course will form part of the Nicklaus Golf Trail linking up with the six other Polarisworld Resorts once they are completed.

Driving Range A great practise range with a bustling clubhouse and golf pro shop

Tennis courts Two courts are within a 5 minute walk from the villa. The courts are available to all.

Providing a comprehensive range of foods, drinks and household items (reasonably priced) with everything you will need for your stay. Inside you will find a café serving drinks and light snacks.

Getting to the resort could not be any easier with two airports nearby.

The nearest Airport is San Javier (Murcia) approx. 15 minutes away by car. This airport is served by many popular low cost airlines including Iberia, Easyjet, Ryanair, Jet2, Monarch and Flybe.

Alicante Airport is approx 45 - 60 minute drive away, also served by the above operators and BA.
