The apartment has been furnished to provide comfort and relaxation and caters for guests' every need.
The apartment has a large balcony with table, chairs and sun lounger to enable you to make the most of the sun and the stunning views of the pool, lake, golf course and mountains. The apartment is fully air conditioned, has a large, airy, tastefully furnished lounge/diner equipped with chaise lounge double sofa bed, flat screen TV, satellite showing English channels, DVD/CD player (a selection of DVDs), dining room table and chairs.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
The Costa Calida ('the warm coast'), a relatively undiscovered and unspoilt area of Spain, offers visitors the chance to discover the real Spain. Murcia has the mildest climate in Spain with the most sunny days and temperatures in excess of 28º C in summer, 20º C in spring/autumn and 15º C in winter. There is 250 km of coastline along two seas: the warm waters of the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean, offering wonderful beaches. It is a land of contrasts, so as well as the fantastic beaches, there are mountainous national parks, lush forests and huge plains.
The diversity of the landscape, the privileged climate and the cultural and historical richness make Murcia the perfect region to enjoy the outdoors: practise water sports or learn to sail on the tranquil Mar Menor, take a mud bath, explore its mountains, go hiking, rural tourism, ... and, of course, play golf on one of the numerous golf courses. The clear waters make the Murcian coast one of the best places in Spain for scuba and cave diving. To the north of the Mar Menor you can even see flocks of flamingos!
The cities of Murcia and Cartagena (both just a 20 min drive away) offer wonderful architecture, fabulous shopping, bars and restaurants, old squares and sites of historic interest. The Santa Maria Cathedral in Murcia is Spain's highest.

Fantastic beaches are available within a 15 min drive from the resort. You can either choose the Mar Menor (a beautiful calm and shallow sea perfect for families) or the Mediterranean. The beautiful Calblanque National Park is recommended for unspoilt beaches, crystal clear waters and a mountain backdrop. There are islands in the Mar Menor which you can take boat trips to.

There are many budget airlines which fly to Murcia - San Javier (MJV) and also to Alicante (ALC). MJV is the closest airport and is literally an easy 15 minute drive from the apartment. Alicante airport is about an hours drive away.
Murcia (MJV): Most of the low cost airlines now have regular flights to Murcia from the UK.
Alicante (ALC): The main airport for the Costa Blanca is roughly 60 minutes drive north of the apartment. Again a lot of the low cost airlines have regular flights to Alicante from the UK.

We enjoyed a lovely holiday at this resort. The apartment was exactly what we had hoped for, and as described. The pools were superb - my children spent hours swimming and playing games in them! It did get very hot around the pool, as there is limited shade from the trees, but I later found a parasol in the apartment which provided some relief - an additional parasol may be helpful for a larger family. The apartment was also located on a prime site, with views of the pools and part of the golf course. There is a well stocked supermarket on site, but there are further supermarkets in the two villages near the complex, offering a wider choice of local produce. The beaches of the Mar Menor and Med coast are close by (20 minutes) and offer clean and safe beaches and calm waters. The lagoon is great for young children as the water is relatively shallow and very warm! All in all, our holiday experience was a very happy one! Paula and Mark
Top of our list of requirements for a holiday apartment are clean and quiet, this apartment has these in spades. Beautiful position with stunning views of the mountains, just a short stroll to restaurants, bars and a supermarket. The information pack provided by the owners covers local attractions, restaurants, bars, markets, etc. and there is a large collection of DVDs should you get fed up of sunbathing or swimming in the lovely pool. The apartment complex is secure, with manned gates at the entrance and the underground parking garage keeps the car nice and cool as well as being ultra convenient for taking your suitcases via the elevator to the apartment. The balconies are delightful, the apartment is light and spacious. The kitchen and bathroom are stocked with many extras which add that special touch to your holiday. "We had a lovely holiday at this apartment on La Torre. It is beautifully furnished with a good sized living/dining room and kitchen which is very well equipped. There are superb views over the swimming pool, the 16th fairway and beyond to the Sierra de Carrascoy mountains from the terrace. As well as an 18 hole golf course there is a well stocked supermarket, established club house and a very good Italian restaurant all within easy walking distance of the apartment.We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would recommend this apartment."
