La Torre Golf Resort is a beautiful open 18 hole golf course designed by Nicklaus Design (Jack Nicklaus company). It has tight fairways, big bunkers, treacherous greens and numerous lakes. There are numerous other golf courses in the area and over the next couple of years the Nicklaus Golf Trail will be complete.
The apartment has a fully air conditioned lounge/dining room with excellent views. Equipped with chaise lounge double sofa bed, flat screen TV, satellite showing English channels, DVD/CD player (a selection of DVDs), dining room table and chairs.
Bedroom 1 with your choice of comfortable king size bed or 2 single beds. Bedroom 2 with 2 comfortable single beds. Both bedrooms have doors to balcony, ceiling fans, air-conditioning, fitted wardrobes with hangers, bedside table and lamp.
Separate bathroom with full-size bath, overhead shower, wash basin, mirror, toilet and bidet, shaving point, towel rail and natural day light through arch window.
Fully equipped kitchen with oven, ceramic hob, large fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, glassware and utensils. Iron and ironing board.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
Murcia is one of the regions with the most sunny days a year, an average annual temperature of 21º C, and 250 km of shoreline along two seas: the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean. It is noted for being a land of contrasts, with mountainous national parks, southern basins with steppe landscapes, and wonderful beaches such as those of La Manga, Mazarrón and Calblanque.
Murcia´s coastline is rich and diverse, areas of rough water contrasting with gentle coves and quiet beaches. Dunes, salt flats, wetlands... The coastline of Murcia Region contains a considerable number of areas of indisputable environmental interest, many of them Nature Reserves. Places where you can still find native flora and fauna such as the Phoenician juniper (Sabina mora), a native tree variety, and the "fartet" (Aphanius iberus), a minute and highly unusual fish, the only one of its kind.
The diversity of the landscape, the privileged climate and the cultural and historical richness make Murcia the perfect region to live in and enjoy the outdoors, practise water sports in the Mar Menor, explore its mountains, go hiking, rural tourism... and, of course, play golf.
La Torre Golf Resort area
Fantastic beaches are available within a 15 min drive from the resort. You can either choose the Mar Menor (a beautiful calm sea) or the Mediterranean.
The nearest airport is Murcia San Javier (airport code is MJV) and it is a 15 min drive to the resort. A car is recommended. Alicante airport is a 45-60 min drive.
Murcia City is a 20 min drive through the mountains and Cartagena is a 25 min drive.

How to get there
There are many budget airlines which fly to Murcia - San Javier (MJV) and also to Alicante (ALC). MJV is the closest airport and is literally a 15 minute drive from the apartment. Alicante airport is about an hours drive away.
Murcia (MJV): Most of the low cost airlines now fly regular flights into Murcia from the UK.
Alicante (ALC): The main airport for the Costa Blanca is roughly 60 minutes drive north of the apartment. Again a lot of the low cost airlines have regular flights to Alicante from the UK.

"We had a lovely holiday at this apartment on La Torre. It is beautifully furnished with a good sized living/dining room and kitchen which is very well equipped. There are superb views over the swimming pool, the 16th fairway and beyond to the Sierra de Carrascoy mountains from the terrace. As well as an 18 hole golf course there is a well stocked supermarket, established club house and a very good Italian restaurant all within easy walking distance of the apartment.We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would recommend this apartment."
