Home description
This property has had Great feedback from every guest since first let in April 2007 (see a sample below)...is ideal for family holidays or golfing trips, whether for a weekend or a few weeks...
It is furnished to a very high standard and has the benefit of a cleaner (fresh bedlinen and bath towels are provided). It has fantastic views of the fairways from the 3 terraces and is situated in a quiet road away from the main club house.
There are 2 bedrooms, which can be arranged as twin beds or super-kingsize prior to your arrival. A 5th bed can be made up on the sofa/bed in the lounge. Two bathrooms include a bath and shower. Samsung LCD TV together with Satellite is installed (over 200 channels available from UK, Scandanavia, Germany, Holland, Spain etc showing films, football etc) together with a DVD player. Over time a DVD and book library will be bult up at the house, which you are welcome to make use of during your stay. You can also access the internet via the house telephone line (with your own laptop) or use the internet lounge at the club-house nearby.
A telephone (landline) is now available at the house. Local calls will not be charged for, however all other calls (eg international) will be charged to you when bills are received subsequent to your departure.
Nearby (100 metres) are 2 tennis courts available for your use together with a large communal swimming pool (there are 3 others on the resort). The club house/golf shop, supermarket etc etc are only a 3 minute drive away (or 15 min walk alongside the fairways).

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
Offering the hottest weather in Spain, the ‘warm coast’ lives up to its name. The summer lasts from Easter to November, making a great place for an off-season getaway. The lagoon of Mar Menor offers warm shallow waters, ideal swimming conditions for children. The coast is a must for sports fanatics, with the huge Club La Manga offering three golf courses amongst other facilities.
La Torre Golf Resort area
La Torre Golf Resort is a Polaris World development near Torre Pacheco in the Murcia region of South East Spain. The resort is approximately 20 minutes from Murcia City and 15 minutes from the beaches of the Mar Menor.
La Torre Golf Resort has its own large supermarket; social club, golf club; 18 hole Jack Nicklaus golf course; driving range; medical centre; and Lake Side Village. There will be a 1000 person conference centre linked to a 5 star 'Crowne Plaza' Hotel, as well as many bars and restaurants and extensive leisure facilities.
A new Polaris World Sports Centre, Las Lomas is being built nearby. It will have international sporting facilities for tennis, football, swimming and many other Sports Academies.
How to get there
Nearest Airport is San Javier (Murcia) - approx 20kms/15-20mins away. Served by Iberia, Monarch, Easyjet, Ryanair and Jet2. Car hire is very easy from here as the key collection desks are all in the baggage arrivals hall (hence you can finalise the paperwork whilst others scramble for their bags...).
Next nearest Airport is Alicante - 100kms/45-60mins away (all motorway). Served by same airlines as San Javier Airport plus BA and others.
There are many good car hire companies serving both airports, including: Solmar, EuropCar, Centaur and Polaris World Rentacar. Try www.carjet.co.uk which compares all car hire cos quotes and can book with web discounts.

Further details outdoors: La Torre Golf Resort opened its course in November 2006 and although already considered a top golf course is not hugely busy. Staying at la Torre entites you to play at several other courses in the vacinity. Other courses nearby include: La Manga (35 min drive); Mar Menor ( 15 min drive); Las Ramblas (25 min drive).

Further details
Cleaning and laundry is provided. The cost of this is £40 (€60 payable locally by you at the end of your stay) - this has already been deducted from the rates quoted (so the property owner has indirectly paid this).
A welcome pack can be provided on request at additional cost. Please state what you would like once your booking is confirmed and the local representative will organise this for your arrival, eg fresh fruit, flowers, bread, milk, water, tea, coffee, pizza, wine/beer etc.
Conditions
Smoking is not permitted inside the house but outside (on terraces) is fine.
A refundable deposit of 25% is required on booking confirmation. Notice of cancellation is required 5 weeks prior to first day of rental, otherwise the deposit is not refundable. The full balance of your rental charge is payable 5 weeks prior to rental commencing.

Arrival/Departure times can be flexible if the property is available either side of your rental period. However, we do need to allow time for a thorough clean etc before our next guests arrive. Please note the cleaning charge of £47.50 (€60 payable by you locally at the end of your stay) has already been deducted from the above rates.
The house is busiest from April to October but we sometimes have special offers available so please ask especially if you are booking last minute.

The location overlooking the 14th tee is absolutely stunning and we spent many a happy hour on the upstairs terraces watching other golfers trying to come to grips with the vast areas of bunkers on the course.
