20 minutes from the sea, this is a two-bedroom, superior furnished, self-catering town house, front-line golf location overlooking the 6th hole on the La Torre Golf Resort.

The property is centrally heated, partially air conditioned and sleeps four in comfort (with a fifth person on a superior occasional bed). There is one double bedroom on the ground floor and another on the first floor.
There are external patio areas on the ground floor and first floor, together with a solarium on the second floor. Facilities include TV/DVD/CD, fully equipped kitchen, outside dining, seating and sun loungers.

The Murcia region

The La Torre Resort is in the Murcia region of Spain, known as The Garden of Spain and lies on the warm coast of the Costa Calida - with great natural beauty, mountain views, lush vistas and 250km of beaches. As well as its Mediterranean beaches, the region skirts the Mar Menor - an extensive salt water lagoon separated from the Mediterranean by the La Manga strip and retaining a high water temperature well into the Autumn months.

The region enjoys over 300 days of sunshine a year with an average temperature of 21 degrees - great for summer and winter sun.

The interesting towns of Cartagena (40km) and Murcia (33km) are a short drive away, with La Manga about a 45 minute drive. Further afield there are worthwhile visits to Elche (90km), Alicante (105km), Lorca (85km), whilst varied walking country is available in less than an hour's drive e.g. Sierra Espuna National Park.
The area is well served with local markets as well as supermarkets and other shops just a short drive away.
Restaurants and bars are available on site in the resort, as well as in all the local villages and towns.
Cinemas, bowling and other sports are also available locally as well as a Water Park and an Animal park near Murcia.

La Torre Golf Resort is a luxury development of 5 star properties comprising Apartments, Town houses and Villas surrounding an 18 hole Nicklaus designed par 68 golf course (5354mtrs) - with discounted rates for residents.

Incorporating a 5 star Intercontinental Hotel, Bars, Restaurants, Convention centre, swimming pools, shops, supermarket - the resort has everything you would need for a relaxed vacation. The resort is gated and has 24 hour security.

Car hire is recommended but not essential. There are shuttle buses to the beach and to other Polaris resorts.
Local activities include diving, surfing, swimming, tennis, walking, sailing, cycling, fishing, horse riding, golf, wind-surfing, water skiing, mountaineering, paragliding, roller blading.
