About the home

This stylish, modern, two bedroom apartment was only completed in 2007. It has front line golf views, overlooks the 10th and 18th fairways of the resort’s golf course and is only a short 3 minute stroll from the clubhouse. Its two bedrooms have built-in wardrobes and a choice of either twin or king-sized beds, and each bedroom has French doors that lead out onto its own small ‘Juliette’ balcony.

If you fancy a quiet night in, you can sit and watch one of the vast variety of European TV (UK Free view channels included) available on the 28” LCD set, or choose a DVD from our collection. If you bring your laptop along, you can connect to the WiFi broadband set up and do a little surfing.

From the bedrooms, a hallway leads to the large bathroom, and across the hall is the kitchen, fully equipped with everything you would expect in a top quality apartment. The dining area has a wrought iron and glass table that can seat six and the lounge has comfortable leather sofas for five.

From the lounge, patio doors open out onto a large, west facing balcony that catches the afternoon and evening sun. To ensure a comfortable stay whatever the time of year, and whatever the weather, we have air conditioning and gas central heating in all main rooms.

The small Juliette balconies opening out from the bedrooms overlook the gardens. Here the grounds are laid to grass and dotted with mature fruiting olive, lemon and pomegranite trees. Flowerbeds are planted with scented Mediterranean plants such as sage and lavender. A mosaic and terracotta path leads past a small water feature to the communal pool, the largest on the resort, which boasts a jacuzzi, kiddies splash pool and poolside showers. Surrounded by ornamental palms, the pool measures about 100' x 50' overall and is extremely safe for swimming, the shallow end being only 3' deep, and the 'deep' end only 5'. There is also a play area nearby with climbing frame, slide, swings etc.

The main balcony on the opposite side of the apartment overlooks the golf course. From here you can sit with a drink and watch the golfers digging themselves out of the bunkers, or just enjoy the view down the fairway to the nearby clubhouse.

The full payment amount will be confirmed to you on your booking advice, but should be received by us no later than 8 weeks from your departure date. Should any problems arise with your ability to fulfil your agreement we would advise you that to obtain a refund we must be informed a minimum of 4 weeks prior to your departure date. Notification under 4 weeks will result in a 25% reduction being made to your refund unless a replacement booking can be found by either yourselves or us.

The Murcia region

The Region of Murcia is a beautiful area of Spain. Located between the Costa del Sol and the Costa Blanca, it has many unspoilt beaches along the Costa Calida. The region boasts 320 days of sunshine per year and temperatures average 17 degrees in the winter and 27 degrees in the summer.

The Region is rich in towns and cities with historic buildings, some dating back to the Romans and before. They also have modern shops, street markets and leisure facilities to offer the visitors. The Spanish combination of Cuisine, Fiestas and Siestas remains unspoiled, as the tourist trade in this area is largely made up of Spanish visitors.

The coastal area of Murcia is known as the Costa Calida or “Warm Coast”. It stretches from the largest lagoon in Europe (the Mar Menor) around the La Manga Strip and along the Mediterranean coast to Aguilas in the south.
The villages around the Mar Menor have been tourist destinations for the Spanish for many years. The beautiful beaches of resorts such as Lo Pagan, Santiago de La Ribera and Los Alcazares (a resort even in Roman times) are on the crystal clear Mar Menor. The Mar Menor is open to the sea at it’s northern end and is quite shallow (maximum depth of 7m), so it is excellent for children as it’s beaches shelve very gently. In the summer, the waters are literally like a warm bath

The La Torre Golf Resort / Polaris World, La Torre area

La Torre Golf Resort is one of a number of Polaris World Golf Resorts in the Murcia area. It is a self-contained 'gated' resort with 24-hour security and controlled access. Built in Mediterranean style with a Moorish influence, its whitewashed buildings flank broad, tree lined avenues, landscaped gardens and magnificent water features.

The resort is based around a challenging 18-hole, par 68 golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus. Guests have access to the golf course and a residents' discount is available. Visitors staying at the apartment can also play the other Polaris World Golf Resorts at preferential rates.
