We invite you to stay in our lovely apartment Casa Tulp, at United Golf Resort- La Tercia. We hope to have included everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Enjoy lying by one of the many pools available to you or take advantage of the superb sporting facilities on offer.
Let the children play in one of the 8 specially designed playgrounds for all ages, from toddlers to teenagers, or splash around in the kids' pools.

How about a game of tennis or Bowls or spend time in the gym followed by a relaxing swim in one of 7 pools? Spend half a day on a round of golf or practice your skill on the only Aquatic driving range in Spain. Make use of the practice putting greens before enjoying a relaxing lunch and drink at the clubhouse bar and restaurant.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region

Cities and Towns

Driving North from La Tercia, you will find the lively holiday resorts of Torrevieja, Guardamar and Alicante. Here you will find beaches, shops and restaurants.

Driving South you will come to the historic port of Cartegena with its Roman ruins and museums and ancient port area which has been beautifully restored to its former glory and is a joy to walk around or while away a lunch time at one of the port-side restaurants watching the boats come in.

Driving inland from La Tercia you will find murcia city which is described as one of the most beautiful and historic cities in the country. The city stands on the bank of the river and enjoys year round sunshine. Murcia is famed for its ancient monuments and churches but has recently built a modern shopping mecca and cinema complex on the outskirts of the city. Murcia is also the site of the new Ikea store.

Golf

The area of the Costa Calida is famed for its golf courses. While you are staying at La Tercia there are many other golf courses accessible to you, with the usual handicap requirements.

Beaches

The warm waters of the Mar Menor are only 15 minutes away by car. The concentration of salts in this shallow lagoon are renowned for their health giving properties and the area is typically Spanish and unspoiled bt tourism. The beaches further North in Alicante province have long been popular holiday destinations and boast many shops, restaurants and sea fronts. The port area of Alicante has recently been renovated to create some lovely promenades.

Santiago de la Ribera has a lovely beach and marina and you can catch the ferry from here to La Manga which takes about 1 hour.

Los Alcazares has a very pretty palm lined promenade with many cafes and bars. Typically Spanish in atmosphere it has a wonderful beach which is safe for children.

La Tercia / United Golf Resort area

Enjoy the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean sea and the warm shallow waters of the Mar Menor inlet, Europe's biggest salt water lagoon.

Terra Natura Theme Park

Terra Natura, Murcia is a new generation wildlife park where you can experience the "zooimmersion" of coming into intimate contact with the animals as though there are no barriers.

Aqua Natura Water Park

Aqua Natura Murcia is a water park covering 30,000m2 known as Zanzibar which aims to imitate the Indian Ocean Archipelago. It offers a refreshing oasis for all the family and is only a short distance from La Tercia along the A30 motorway.

Water Sports

For the water sports enthusiasts the Mar Menor offers water-skiing, wind-surfing,fishing trips, and therapeutic mud-baths and thermal springs at Lo Pagan.

For the more adventurous there is a scuba diving club where PADI trained English Instructors cater for complete beginners as well as competent divers. The Mar Menor is a safe place to try your first dive or for the qualified divers there are boat dives in the Cabo de Palos reserve off the tip of the peninsular where you will be able to enjoy a huge variety of marine life.*

The sitting room includes a double sofa-bed for extra guests, TV, DVD/CD player.

The Dining table can be extended to accommodate 6-8 people.

The patio/garden area has dining furniture, 4 sun beds, and rotary dryer.

Central vacuuming system, central air-conditioning/ heating, entry-phone security system.

United Golf Resort-La Tercia is a luxury golf and leisure complex suited to families with children of all ages.
The resort boasts 7 pools including children's pools and playground's, surrounded by public gardens with seating.

The sporting facilities include tennis,paddle,bowls,gym,and football.
There is a 9 hole golf course (with plans to extend to 18 holes) and Spain's first aquatic driving range.

You can enjoy a drink in the sports bar or a meal at the club house and there is a small supermarket/cafe on site.
The local village of La Tercia is within walking distance and has supermarkets and bars.

The beaches of the Mar Menor are 15 minutes away by car, being renowned for water sports it is one of the best locations in Europe for windsurfing. With water temperatures 5 degrees warmer than the Med and a depth of no more than 7 metres and a high salinity which provides buoyancy it is very safe for bathing.

The towns and villages around the beaches have some wonderful restaurants ranging from snack and ice-cream bars and pubs to up-market restaurants serving fish and local fare. There are shops selling local crafts and souvenirs as well as large supermarkets to stock up on local wines and beers.
