Outside is a patio area (barbecue and outdoor furniture provided) and play area with swing, slide & trampoline, parking for upto 3 vehicles. Set in the glorious mayenne countryside with wonderful farmland views to front and rear but only 3kms to nearest shop/restaurant/bar etc. Soak up the relaxing french way of life as well as the warmer sunshine. The Loire Valley / Mayenne region
Usually 3-4 degrees warmer than southern UK, fantastic green countryside - full of rambles/ bike-rides. Close to Fougeres Castle and Pontmain basilique. Further afield are the roman remains of Jublains, the Normandy beaches and the cosmopolitan city of Rennes.
La Tanniere area
The swimming lake in Fougeres Forest is always a popular destination, some families find it on their first day and spend the entire holiday there. The local restaurants offer fantatic value lunches with wine and/or cider included. It's an ideal location for an outdoors holiday, plenty of parks and activities for the children (inc. pony-trekking, kayaking, swimming, crazy golf etc), fishing lakes, shopping - something for everyone!
How to get there
Airport = Dinard, flights by Ryanair from East Midlands, Birmingham, Bristol & London Stansted. Hertz & europcar offer cheap car rental from Dinard airport. Ferries = Brittany Ferries offer Portsmouth to St Malo (Nearest - 1hr 20mins), Caen (2 hours) & Cherbourg (3 hours). LD Lines offer very reasonable rates on their Portsmouth to Le Havre route(3 hours).

Conditions
We require a booking deposit of 100 pounds, the balance to be paid 6 weeks before your holiday starts. A 100 pound security deposit is required on arrival, refunded on departure.
