Home description
Ideal for families walkers and bird watchers. The roads are very quiet but their are lots of off road paths. Peranque ( Boules ) pitch and table tennis is for guest enjoyment. Why not follow the river Gartempe as it flows its way through small hamlets. Watch the Buzzards fly over head. The lake at Pont A'lage which has a beach and children's play area and cafe Bar. Limoges is 45 minutes with the historical butchers street , walk or take the tourist train, visit the museum of porcelain or the aquarium, or just wonder around the shops and have a coffee.

The Creuse is one of the least inhabited departments in France and provides a lovely location for a relaxing holiday.

La Souterraine / St Etienne de Fursac area
La Souterraine is a medieval town, many lakes have swimming beaches with children's play areas. Limoges is about 45 minutes away with the old butchers street or if you prefer to shop, there are many establishments to browse.
The country town of Fursac is 5 minutes and has shops, 3 bars, hotels and restaurants
How to get there
We are 15 minutes from the A20 which goes North to South, we are only a few minutes from Fursac and very easy to find,we would aways meet you in Fursac if you get lost. Flybe Ryan air from most U.K airports to Limoges 5 hours from ferry ports.

Further details indoors: The barn has just been renovated to a high standard and has a wood burning stove (wood can be brought locally ) The lounge is open plan and the kitchen is well equipped. The swimming pool is shared with grapevine gite if occupied. Many seating areas and a 2 acre garden is available for guests. There are B.B.Q areas . Table tennis. Bowls pitch. Children's play area with a little blue summer house.

Some towels are suppled. A refundable breakages and cleaning deposit of £100 is required, the cleaning deposit will only be charged if the property is not left in the condition it is found. We have a small stream and waterfall at the bottom of the garden.
