The Creuse is one of the least inhabited department in France and provides a lovely location for a relaxing holiday.

The lively and historic market town of La Souterraine is 15 mins drive away, some of the medival ramparts still stand and are definitely worth a visit.

This is the perfect location for a stay in the Limousin. Wonderful weather and lots to do for the kids both at the gite and in the surrounding area. This was our first time visiting the area and we thought that the long drive from Calais would be a challenge. We couldn't have been more wrong. The drive was easy on the great French roads. We were welcomed by Alan, who has created a wonderful place with lots of space for the children. After reading the Recommendation book in the gite, it is clear that everyone comes back ever year so it's probably better to book well in advance before you miss out. |
