Limoges is the capital of the region and is famous for its porcelain. Aubusson world renowned for its tapestries and carpets, is approx. 1 hrs drive and is a lovely town on the river with narrow streets, a museum of tapetries etc., Eguzon is famous for its school of painting, and Argenton sur Creuse is known as the Venice of the Berry
The La Souterraine / Azerables area
