L'Orée de la Pinède is a pleasant quality villa offering comfortable accommodation for 8 + 1 baby (additional adults/children on request and at a supplement) with the added advantage of a separate studio (no kitchen), ideal for teenagers wanting some independence.

Outside you will find a good size garden with covered terrace, summer kitchen and a private swimming pool (fenced).

The property is situated in a dominant position, on the edge of the lovely village, perfect for walking in for fresh croissants and bread in the morning and to go out for dinner or drinks in the evening. 15 km from Brignoles.

The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur / Var region

The Var department is situated west of its famous neighbour Côte d’Azur. With its beautiful landscape with both mountains and sea and its sunny Mediterranean weather it is a popular holiday destination all year round.

Along its 300-km long coast, you will find some stylish seaside resorts like glitzy St Tropez and Ste Maxime, as well as some smaller but equally beautiful and charming resorts like Bandol or Le Lavandou.

The beautiful Iles d'Or (Porquerolles, Ile du Levant and Pors Cros) are also well worth a visit and can be reached by boat from La Tour Fondue near Hyères. Inland, you will find delightful and unspoilt hilltop villages and further to the north, the breathtaking Gorges du Verdon with its many water sports and activities.

The La Roquebrussanne area

The picturesque village of La Roquebrussane is situated a short distance from Brignoles, capital town of the Green Provence, 90 minutes’ drive from the breathtaking Gorges du Verdon, between the Ste Baume mountain and the sea, and peacefully set against the Loube mountain chain (830m).
Here Provence meets nature and this protected site offers a choice of walks in hills covered with pines and green oaks.
It is also conveniently located away from the hustle and bustle of the coast, whilst being within easy reach of some beautiful beaches, including Hyeres 40 km away.

PLACES TO VISIT:
St Maximin la Ste Baume. 20 km. At the foot of the Ste Baume mountains, a lively town with rich historical and artistic heritage which can be admired throughout its old city and medieval Jewish quarter.
Entrecasteaux. 40 km. Pretty and unspoilt village with medieval streets and typical pastel painted houses. The village is overlooked by its chateau.
Hyères. 40 km. Attractive seaside resort with walled and medieval centre, once the favourite summer resort of celebrities, some of the intellectual elite and the rich. The town and its peninsula have almost 40 km of pristine sand beaches and rocky inlets to offer.
St Cyr sur Mer. 40 km. In a bay sheltering 3 little harbours and a 2-km long sandy beach, an attractive coastal setting backed by a mix of pine forests and renowned vineyards. Many watersports activities available.

Eden Aventure, Signes. 15 km. Tree top adventure park. Enjoy an exceptional setting with via ferrata, zip lines, monkey bridges, etc. Without mentioning the "T'es pas cap !" jump (I’ll dare you !), a 22m high jump between 2 peaks... Thrills guaranteed! Booking essential.
Golf de Barbaroux, Brignoles. 25 km. Golf course. 18 holes Par 72 - 6068m. One of Europe’s most prestigious golf courses, a magnificent wooded landscape in a stunning setting, surrounded by vineyards and Mediterranean pine trees covering the hillsides. An essential golfing experience.
Aoubré - L'Aventure Nature, Flassans-sur-Issole. 30 km. Tree top adventure park. A park for the whole family with trails adapted for all ages and abilities. In total, 7 different trails offering 105 workshops. Also do not miss the visit of the small farm with large enclosures. Allow the whole day to make the most of it.
Le Village des Tortues, Gonfaron. 35 km. Animal park. A natural park where over 2500 tortoises are housed and protected. Follow the shady trail over various bridges and discover the tortoise hospital and a breeding area. A journey in time will help you discover now extinct tortoises and the time of dinosaurs.

FURTHER AFIELD:
Lorgues. 50 km . Small and very pleasant medieval town with a maze of old streets, open squares and fountains, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees.
Sanary sur Mer. 50 km. Delightful seaside resort with picturesque quay, colourful houses, lively streets and terraces shaded by palm trees. Beautiful views from its 16th century Chapel Notre Dame de Pitié, over the coast and the small islands that lie offshore.
St Tropez. 80 km. Authentic fishing village but also trendy and glamorous seaside resort and favourite holiday spot for the rich and famous. Fantastic night life, exquisite restaurants, chic boutiques, delightful old quarters, glorious beaches including the famous 5 km-long Plage de Pampelonne.
Gorges du Verdon. 90 km. Europe’s largest river canyon and one of France’s greatest natural wonder with twisting narrow roads, dramatic scenery, awesome views but also lofty little villages and chapels clinging to the rocks. THE place for climbing, rafting, canyoning, kayaking...
