All La Rochelle attractions are within easy walking, or cycling distance, but if you feel lazy bus routes stop nearby. If you have your own car, all major routes are easily accessible and car parking is provided. You will soon find why La Rochelle is "the most attractive and unspoilt seaside town in France".

The studio consists of:
* Large living room /bedroom (3.6m x 5.9m): with full width double patio doors opening onto the balcony, a large living area with sofa and easy chair, coffee table, flat screen TV (French channels only), DVD player, CD/radio/cassette player and room safe. At the other end of the room is a full sized double bed, with quality mattress.
* Separate kitchen/dining room (6m2 : 2.25m x 2.75m) - also with double patio doors opening onto the balcony. Newly fitted and fully equipped including halogen hob, full sized oven, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave and dining table/chairs.
* Dressing Room with plenty of storage & hanging space
* Bathroom / WC: bath with wall mounted shower attachment.

The apartment has a full width balcony, equipped with two steamer style chairs and a table and chairs for alfresco eating. The balcony overlooks the residence's extensive mature gardens. Parking available in the residence car park.

Outside June/July/August the studio can be booked by the night minimum 3, 4 or 5 nights depending on season and start/finish days can be any day. In June, July and August bookings can only be made by the full week starting on Saturdays.
Payments are only accepted by credit or debit card. A 25% booking deposit is payable at the time of booking. Final payment is due 8 weeks before your booking commences. A £100 or 145 euros per booking breakages/excess cleaning deposit (depot de guarantee) is payable with the final payment, but is simply repaid to your card within 7 days of the end of your stay, less any unavoidable deductions.
Conditions
Whilst the apartment is not designed for people using wheelchairs, guests using wheelchairs have stayed here with very positive feedback.
Sorry - the apartment is not suitable for children or pets.

Situated in the beautiful Charente Maritime (the second sunniest area of France, with its own micro-climate) and within easy striking distance of the Aquitaine, Gironde including the Medoc, with loads of interesting places to visit and things to do in the area. Within easy striking distance are Chatelallion Plage, Ile de Re, Ile d'Oleron, St Jean d'Angely, Angouleme, Royan, Rochefort, Cognac, Blaye, Saintes, Niort and even Bordeaux.
The La Rochelle area
Set around La Rochelle's Old Port with its famous twin towers are a host of delights including port side bars and restaurants, old arcaded town streets, parks and gardens, historical buildings and La Rochelle beach to relax on after a walk though the seafront parks. The apartment itself has many shops, bars and restaurants within 5 mins walk.

The studio is easily accessible, with no need to have a car - 10min taxi ride from La Rochelle airport, with direct flights from UK and elsewhere. 10min taxi ride from the rail station – with high speed TGV trains from the UK. If you prefer to drive, or hire a car, there is easy access to the autoroute network (just 4 hours from the Channel ports). Once there, you’ll be amazed at how easy it is to get around La Rochelle and its surrounding areas, whether by foot, boat, train or bus.

We were welcomed on arrival by the owner who explained everything , provided a comprehensive file of all the facilities and loads of information about the attractions of La Rochelle and area . In our second week we moved to another of the owner's properties on the other side of town and he was very helpful in getting some fridge perishables from A to B . The nearby Park Frank Delmas is charming and for a rugby fan like myself it was great to attend a French Premiership match at Stade Rochelais which is sirtuated just across from the apartment |
