The apartment has accommodation for 6 people spread over 2 floors and is 60m2 in size. The balcony has an undisturbed view of Mont Blanc. Apartment is right next to the lift in Plagne 1800 and so there is little or no walking required.
La Plagne/Paradiski
The Vanoise Express is a spectacular double-decker cable car, linking La Plagne and Les Arcs. The result is Paradiski, one of the world’s biggest skiing areas. The numbers are boggling: all told, there are no less than 242 pistes, 425km, 35 black, 66 red, 129 blue and 12 green, plus 4 snowparks and one halfpipe. They are serviced by 134 lifts, with lower slopes at 1200 metres yielding to the glaciers at 3250 metres; so skiing is assured throughout the season. Quite simply, there’s no excuse to be bored on a Mountain Heaven holiday.
For snowboarders La Plagne is also well-served, with a permanent half pipe in Plagne Bellecote, a snow park in Belle–Plagne and a snowboarding area with sound system in Montchavin/Les Coches and Champagny en Vanoise.

La Plagne / Plagne 1800 area
Plagne 1800 Plagne 1800 is one of the 10 villages that make up La Plagne it is just below La Plagne centre and is surrounded by pine trees. There are a number of good restaurants including the Mere- Grand which is highly recommend for the chalet hosts night off (pre-booking essential!), Mamma Mia’s and Le Petit Chaperon Rouge are excellent, good value restaurants and in addition there is the Loup Garou and the Loup Blanc. There are three bars including La Mine. For more bars and restaurants there is a free shuttle bus to Plagne Centre that operates until after midnight or you can get a taxi back or even walk!
Being at 1800m Plagne 1800 is snow secure and Plagne 1800 has its own ski school which is highly recommended as many of its staff speak English. In addition there is a health and fitness centre.
How to get there
There are four airports all within easy reach of La Plagne 1800 Chambery, Geneva, Lyon and Grenoble. Please contact us to tel you which airlines fly from which UK airport and to which French airport but there are lots of choices. We can arrange discounted car hire together with transfers
In addition its an easy drive from Calais and only 25 minutes away from Aime train station where the Eurostar and snow train stop
