This fantastic new apartment sleeps 9(+1) and features a very large open plan living/dining room with kitchen area, 3 bedrooms, 1 double, 1 twin/double, 1 with bunk beds, & 2 deluxe bathrooms, covering in total 82 m2 . In the lounge there is a large sofa bed, and upstairs there is also another room which can be used as a further sleeping area, with a single bed and an extra mattress. There are 2 large balconies both with beautiful views of Mont Blanc and the Tarantaise Valley below.
The apartment has its own ski locker and underground parking space. The development also boasts a Spa which includes an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. All of which are included in the price. A perfect way to relax after a days skiing!
A short 150m walk takes you to the village square where there is a variety of shops and restaurants; we can recommend the delightful bakery and tempting delicatessen. There is a lovely little pizza takeaway, which also sells crepes in the squrae in the evenings. Most evenings, there are entertainments in the square for all ages. The lifts, and ski hire shops are also all to hand from the centre of the village, where guests currently enjoy a 20% discount at the ski hire shop Intersport.

The apartment is equipped to a high standard and comprises of a fully fitted kitchen area, with a fridge/freezer, and a top of the range oven, with a rotisserie setting, a hob and a microwave/ grill. The open plan living/dining room is furnished with 2 sofas one in stylish leather and a leather armchair. There is a rustic long wooden dining table with benches. The living room is equipped with a TV, a DVD player, an IPod docking station for you to play all your favourite tunes, and an xbox. We have left a selection of books, DVDs and games for guests to enjoy.
The bedrooms, have wardrobes and storage units. There is also an extra room, with a single bed and an extra mattress with plenty of room for a travel cot. (Strictly speaking; the ceiling height prevents us from calling it a fourth bedroom, however, our children are always keen to sleep in here. Lots of Fun - but mind Your head!)
There are 2 bathrooms with bath, shower attachment and basins, and 2 separate WC's.

There is a communal reception area where keys can be collected from at the beginning of your stay and left on departure. Here you can get english newspapers and relax by the open fire, or play pool with friends.
The shared indoor heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room is only 20 metres form our door!

A deposit equal to 25% of the total holiday cost must be paid at the time of the booking. Balance of payment is due 8 weeks prior to departure. If the booking is made less than 8 weeks prior to departure, the total cost of the holiday is payable immediately. Failure to pay / delay in payment will result in the automatic cancellation of your holiday. Cancellation fees will be levied accordingly. A booking is not confirmed until a confirmation invoice is sent to you.
A breakage / damage deposit of £200 is payable as a cheque 2 weeks before your holiday, this is not cashed unless needed and will be refunded to you once an inventory check has been carried out (refunded by post within 14 days of your return). Electronic transfer or Cheque are accepted as forms of payment.
The Rhone/French Alps region
In 2004, the major ski areas of Les Arcs and La Plagne were linked by the Vanoise Express, a modern cable car on 2 floors carrying 400 people, creating a new combined area called 'Paradiski', linking the whole network in just 4 minutes, which is now one of the largest ski areas in the world.
There is an extensive range of skiing and snowboarding for all abilities, and this area links some of the finest sure-snow resorts in Europe.
Les Coches is right at the heart of the huge Paradiski area (Les Arcs and La Plagne) with 425 km of alpine slopes, 175 ski lifts and skiing up to 3250m on the glacier. The vanoise express, over to Les Arc, leaves from Les coches and ski runs are kept open until the end of the season in mid april. Snowboarders will enjoy the snow-park at Arc 1800, the floodlit half-pipe at Arc 2000, as well as the snow-park at La Plagne. In addition, Val d'Isere/Tignes is 50 min away, the 3 Valleys are 45 min and St Foy (more off piste) is within 30 mins.
The ski area is open from mid December to mid April. .
Ski school operates within the village, evolution 2 and the french ski school, ESF, are both recommended and there is a children's club which caters for babies (6months) - up to teenagers.
Apres ski activities include restaurants, ice rink and games room, all in the village. There are plenty of entertainments in the village square for all ages often with food tasting competitions, free fondues, puppet shows and chocolate egg hunts. there is also a cinema in Montchavin (3km)
Just 3km down the road lies Montchavin, a traditional alpine village, offering a mixture of restaurants and apartments, set amidst local houses and hay barns. It is easy to reach Montchavin, either on skis, in the telecabine (summer and winter) or via the ski bus. Montchavin makes a lovely stop for lunch in the middle of a day's skiing. Down in the valley, the nearest town is Bourg St Maurice, 17km away, offering a greater selection of shops and supermarkets.
