Chalet Mathilde is a luxury chalet just 5 minutes walk from the centre of the mountain village of Les Coches. Just 20 metres from the piste, only 100 metres from the nearest lift and normally you can ski back to the chalet!
In addition to friendly personal chalet service we also offer extras such as a glass of hot wine on Sunday evening, a kir mid week and a grolla to perk you up when you're feeling tired and a grolla at the end of the week.
Ski holiday sustenance, we think, means wonderful home cooked meals and so we've made that the cornerstone of our service. Meals are provided on a half-board basis; breakfast, afternoon tea and three-course evening meal including plenty of wine.

Heart of the Paradiski Area (La Plagne/Les Arcs) 420kms The ski area of Les Coches-La Plagne has something for everybody.
For beginners there are two areas specifically designed for you in Les Coches with nursery slopes separated from, but next to, one of the tree lined runs, which leads back to the chalet. A network of snow cannons on the lower slopes ensures that you will normally be able to ski back home.
The wide blues and reds are perfect for intermediates and the blacks on the Bellecôte Glacier are testing enough for any advanced skier or boarder.
The famous off-piste route down the North Face of the Bellecôte Peak is well worth experiencing - you will need a qualified guide to show the way, we can both vouch for the fact that it is AWESOME.
This is a great area for boarders, beginners and experts alike. There are some fantastic cruisy blues to get you started, a great off-piste playground, half pipe, board parks and boarder cross.
La Plagne area
We are situated in the mountain village of Les Coches that is linked to the massive ski area of Paradiski (La Plagne/Les Arcs). Les Coches and Montchavin are two mountain villages, 1 km apart, sharing their own ski area that is directly linked to the vast ski area of La Plagne.
Les Coches is a village of traditional style buildings with a combination of old world character and contemporary comfort, catering well for children.

Further details indoors: The chalet is of a traditional alpine chalet design, with wooden beams throughout giving a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
The chalet can sleep 12-14 people in total with 6 bedrooms; 2 twin bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, 3 twin bedrooms with en suite showers, a family room sleeping up to 4 with en suite shower.
All the bedrooms have their own WC and wash-hand basins and some have their own balconies.
There is a large warm lounge with huge open fireplace, TV, video/DVD and hifi. There will be a selection of videos and CD's in the chalet for you to enjoy but you are also very welcome to bring your own. There will also be a few books available so if you wish to borrow or swop please do.
Further details outdoors: Chalet Mathilde is just 20m from the piste and you can normally ski right back to the door.
The views from the chalet are stunning with Mont Blanc and the Northern Alps stretching into the distance.

Outdoor shoes are not allowed in the chalet so it is a good idea to bring slippers or indoor shoes.
Please note this is a non-smoking chalet, however, you are welcome to smoke in the garage.

The price quoted is per person and includes 7 nights accommodation and breakfast and 6 nights afternoon tea and 3-course evening meal including wine.
Children under 5 years are £90 and children between 5 and 14 years old will be half price if sharing a room with 2 fully paid adults.
Single person room occupancy will be subject to a supplement of £180.
Discounts: one goes free for bookings of 12 adult prices in Chalet Mathilde and 14 adult prices in Chalet Evelyne.
We take bookings with children under 3 years old when the group book the whole chalet.

Just a quick e-mail to say thank you for making our holiday such a great one. Our first catered chalet experience and we loved it. Please can you pass our thanks on to Bailey and Jo for making the stay so brilliant, they absolutely superb, food was fantastic, I hope we were not too much of a pain with our requests. Also please can you also thank Borat for taking us around the mountain, we really enjoyed our two days skiing with him.
