Purpose built one-bedroom apartment has breathtaking views of the mountain range. It comfortably sleeps two adults and is just under 10 minutes away from the nearest ski lift, via a free ski shuttle-bus service. This service runs from 6.35 am to just after midnight.
The accommodation has a modern bathroom, including a full size bath and shower, a homely living/dining area and a fully equipped kitchenette with a ceramic hob, oven and all the utensils needed to make your stay hassle free.
The living area includes a traditional Savoyard style sofa which can also be used as two single or one double bed. The bedroom also contains a sturdy set of full length bunk beds, a large wardrobe with ample hanging space and shelves for bulkier items of clothing. The balcony, which has direct access to the living room and bedroom, has uninterrupted views of the famous Mont Blanc (see pictures).

The Paradiski area has a fantastic mixture of beautiful tree lined pistes, wide open ski parks and picturesque villages. There is an English speaking ski school (ESF) in La Plagne 1800 which caters for all abilities. We have also used Oxygen Ski School in La Plagne Centre as these provide a pick up and drop off service for those booking their ski school.
The village is served by a free bus service, therefore, a car is not necessary.. However, if you do plan to drive, you will find parking easy and free of charge at all ski lift car parks.. Please note: all locally hired cars are fitted with winter tyres, therefore if you intend to bring your own vehicle snow chains are a must. (in fact it's the Law). Please make sure you practise fitting and removing them before leaving home! All cars hired from Geneva (Swiss side) during the winter period have winter tryes fitted as standard.
Prices are per week and fully inclusive of towels,bed linen and electricity). Changeover day is Saturday, although there may be some flexibility in low season. We ask for a 25% deposit to secure your booking. Payment can be made in £ sterling (GB) or in Euros. The final payment is payable 2 months before your arrival date. A refundable security deposit (£200), to cover any losses or damage, will be required with your final payment. If booking after 8 weeks prior to the holiday start date the full amount, plus refundable damage deposit, is required.
Our apartment is managed by a local team, who will make contact you before and upon your arrival to ensure your stay runs smoothly and without problems. They will make sure the apartment is clean, tidy and warm when you arrive. In addition they will be happy to help you with any queries you may have during your stay. Ski equipment rental may be arranged for you if you wish (when you are there or by pre-booking).
The Rhone/French Alps region
Crete cote, with its beautiful modern chalets, is a 5 minute (free) ski bus ride from the nearest lifts at La Plagne 1800. This pretty little town is spread across a steep hillside and is a short lift ride away from Plagne Centre, and the slightly higher areas of Aime-la-Plagne, Plagne-Soleil and Plagne-Villages. Over a low ridge, beyond the last two, are Plagne-BellecÃ´te and Belle-Plagne above it.
Outside the main bowl, at the northern edge of the area, are Les Coches and Montchavin. At the southern edge is rustic Champagny. Beyond Aime-la-Plagne, at the western edge, is growing Montalbert. These are described later in the chapter.
A free bus system between the core villages within the bowl runs from 06.30 until after midnight. Lifts between some resort units run until 1am.
In the summer months it is perfect for walking and cycling, both road and mountain biking.
You will find the local tourist information office, supermarket, bakery, ski hire shops, ski school and restaurants in La Plagne 1800 which is a 3 minute drive away. La Plagne offers 220km of pistes and is ideal for all standards of skier and there is plenty of opportunity to practise off-piste powder. In addition the Express Cable Car connects La Plagne to Les Arcs providing yet another 225km to ski.

"Lovely Apartment and Great Service from the moment you book!"
These are my thoughts on the apartment at Crete Cote:
It is ideal for a couple or family wanting a good value apartment in the La Plagne resort - the bedroom is kitted out with bunks, and there is a sofa that can be used to sleep 2 people in the lounge area. You get useful advice and support from the moment you book right through to the stay in the apartment - from driving directions that worked better than the satnav (which did have the right location - just kept wanting to take us up narrow lanes through Macot). It was a nicely kitted out apartment that made the stay nice and comfortable - great to have a nice cozy apartment to return to at the end of a day on the mountain, and a lovely bath to ease the muscles!
If I have to, the only real downside I can give is that, unless you wanted to use the Red run or some off piste, you had to use the bus service - this was free, and the drivers very friendly, but at the time we stayed only ran once an hour in each direction. Also, if you needed a shop, restaurant or a bar, you had to take the bus. Saying that, this was not a serious issue - the buses ran from before we woke up in the morning until late at night, so it was very easy to get about. At the start of the week I was nervous about using red runs - by the end of the week I was using the trail from behind the bus stop and some of the red run to get to the lift below to start my day skiing.
Overall, looking at the La Plagne resort, I would choose to stay in this apartment again rather than trying to look in the villages nearer the lifts - it was a nicer location to stay, and great value. The area that it's in looks pretty new too still, so I wouldn't be surprised if more facilities appear in the immediate vicinity very soon.

Just returned from a week's skiing at La Plagne staying in Crete Cote. The apartment is in a great location with fantastic views across the valley. I was in the resort the week before Christmas and there was great snow. It is possible to ski down to the red run to la Roche from the main road just opposite the access road to the chalet, which made it very convenient. Alternatively it was a short drive up the main road to either Plagne 1800 or Plagne Centre.
The Apartment was clean and well furnished. The kitchenette is well equipped and makes it easy to self cater. The apartment is also a good size and i made good use of the DVD player in the evenings. A plentiful supply of english plug adapters was also a useful addition that i appreciated. The amount of snow prior to my arrival and during my stay made driving on the access road somewhat challenging but once the snow chains were fitted to the car there were no problems.
La Plagne is a great ski area for all levels and there is plenty of opportunities to explore.

"Great Apartment at Crete Cote , Clean roomy and well presented."
Just returned from a very Sunny La Plagne after a great weeks Skiing.
Just wanted to thank you and your team for a very enjoyable Ski Break at you're Lovely Apartment at Crete Cote. Sally was very helpful with Pass's and information when we needed it. The Apartment was great. Good size and great facilities. The Cluedo set was a great idea and we had a game which brought back a few childhood memories ! We made use of the DVD TV and it kept us occupied in the evening's. Fantastic Views from the balcony. As you described Steve a short drive to the La Roche car park was the best option in the Morning and a welcome beer was taken in the Bar at the day's end. Perfect ! Parking at the Chalet was initially challenging due to ice , but I quickly got skilled in picking a good spot. Freindly groups from all around Europe as Neighbours. La Plagne and Les Arcs is an amazing Ski Area and for the adventerous great touring. We managed across to Les Arcs more than Once. Also took in Champagny , Montalbert. Great value for the ski pass price. Short drive (2-3 mins max ) to local spar and Bakery. Le Mine Bar in 1800 had a great atmosphere and live music. Taxi when required was reasonable and very willing to help. Dropped us off in resort and arranged pickup when ready.
All in all a great Pad which met our needs very well.
