Chalet Edelweiss is a traditional Savoyard chalet lovingly converted and is perfectly positioned in the centre of the village of Montchavin, an authentic Savoyarde village and a vibrant ski station, at the heart of the Paradiski area (420kms of piste).

Heart of the Paradiski Area (La Plagne/Les Arcs) 420kms The ski area of Montchavin-Les Coches, La Plagne has something for everybody.
For beginners there are two areas specifically designed for you in Montchavin-Les Coches with nursery slopes separated from, but next to, one of the tree lined runs, which leads back to the chalet. A network of snow cannons on the lower slopes ensures that you will normally be able to ski back home.
The wide blues and reds of the Paradiski area are perfect for intermediates and the blacks on the Bellecôte Glacier and Aiguille Rouge are testing enough for any advanced skier or boarder. The famous off-piste route down the North Face of the Bellecôte Peak is well worth experiencing - you will need a qualified guide to show the way, we can vouch for the fact that it is awsome.
This is a great area for boarders, beginners and experts alike. There are some fantastic cruisy blues to get you started, a great off-piste playground, half pipe, board parks and boarder cross.
The size of the Paradiski area (one of the largest ski areas in the world) means there are plenty of day trips visiting other linked ski stations such as Les Arcs, Villaroger, Montalbert and Champagny. If 420km isn’t enough for you we are also only a 50 minutes drive from both Val d’Isere/Tignes and the 3 Vallees.
La Plagne / Montchavin area
Chalet Edelweiss is perfectly positioned in the centre of the village of Montchavin, an authentic Savoyarde village and a vibrant ski station, at the heart of the Paradiski area.
The chalet is perfectly located 150m from the piste, with easy access to ski hire, ski school, bars, restaurants, the crèche and the night-club. Access by vehicle to the centre of the village is strictly controlled which means there is very little noise to disturb the tranquillity.

Further details indoors: The chalet consists of the following:
- 1 twin room with own bathroom/wc - 2 twin attic rooms with en suite shower room/wc - 1 twin attic room and 1 single attic room with shared shower room/wc - lounge/dining area.
There are 2 private parking places a short distance from the chalet. The chalet is well equipped to entertain our guests with plasma TV, DVD and video players, games, books, hifi and wifi. A selection of DVDs and videos will be available in the chalet but feel free to bring your own. We have wireless broadband, which will allow guests to read their emails in the privacy of their own rooms. The chalet hosts will provide our guests with the WEP code on request.

Outdoor shoes are not allowed in the chalet so it is a good idea to bring slippers or indoor shoes.
