A luxury 3 large bedroom villa with own PRIVATE HEATED 9M pool in a delightful and elevated position with sea views from all of the principal rooms on the stunning south west coast of Fuerteventura situated in the charming village of La Pared 5 minutes from Costa Calma

La Pared has 2 excellent restaurants and a friendly bar and the beach is half a mile away from the Villa

On the ground floor there is a large open plan lounge with TV with Full SKY package -Sports, Entertainment, Movies, Documentariesetc. (No BBC or ITV we are too far south) DVD Player, Playstation II, dining area and kitchen which is fully fitted with Dishwasher, Electric Hob, Oven, Microwave oven, Washing machine, and 2 Fridges. All of this overlooks the very large Patio area with stairs down to your pool.

Also on the ground floor there are two double bedrooms, one with direct access to the patio area; and a full bathroom. The master bedroom suite is located on the first floor with the largest bedroom a separate bathroom and a very large balcony (20’x14’) overlooking the patio and pool area and views down to the sea.


As the Villa is South West Facing it gets a lot of sun on it and benefits from fantastic sunset views. The interior through clever design remains cool and comfortable.Both the master bedroom and lounge have ceiling fans incorporated in to the light fittings and bedroom 2 & 3 have free standing electric fans.

As I have been asked on a number of occasions I would confirm that the villa is in a very secluded and private position being higher than all of the neighboring properties bar two which are privately owned properties (owned by Spanish families who live on the mainland and who only visit at Christmas and once or twice in the year maximum) and their villas are not let out.

In addition the villa is let only to one group at a time, the pool is private to the villa only and no one lives in any attached properties (i.e. owners accommodation). The Pool can be heated (Electric not solar) at an extra cost as per below.

The Villa which is in an elevated position giving excellent views to the sea and the mountains has been tastefully furnished to provide spacious and comfortable accommodation for 6 people over two floors;

All of the furnishings are of a high quality as this is a privately owned holiday home which we let out when we are not able to be there to enjoy it. As such the kitchen is well stocked with every piece of cooking equipment so it is not just kitted out for rental use.

Most of the people who have rented the villa have returned as they know that the property offers very comfortable accommodation in a very quiet position which allows you to enjoy yourself completely.

The is a nearly full Sky TV package (No BBC1/2 ITV or Chan 4 & 5 as we are to far south) but all the sky channels plus sports etc, the DVD and Playstation II tend to fill the evenings when not out to eat or in Bar Tina's

The bedrooms all have twin beds which can be joined together or separated to accommodate families.

Further details outdoors:
There is a massive first floor balcony (20' x14') which is fully walled which allows for sunbathing in a sheltered area; well Fuerteventura does mean "Strong Wind!" and if it blows in from the west; not often but it happens, you can still enjoy the sun all year round. This balcony is accessible from either the master bedroom or from the first floor landing and has sunbeds and a table and chairs.

On the ground floor there is a large patio area with table and chairs further sun beds parasol etc. This is accessible from both the Lounge and second bedroom via patio doors. There are 2 sets of steps down to either end of a private (sole use) 9 metre pool with outside shower facilities. The pool has heating which is available for a small additional charge payable at time of booking. The pool depth is from 18 inches gradually sloping to approx 5 foot 6 inches deep.

The pool is private to the villa and is only used by the villa guests. The Pool can be heated (Electric not solar) at an extra cost as per below.

Even though the villa is on a small estate of 16 properties due to clever design and the position of this villa in an elevated position the outside areas are hardly overlooked at all and offer a great deal of privacy, in particular the first floor balcony areas.

Please note that to allow for uninterrupted sea views from the ground floor patio there is only a very low wall (4 inches) between the edge of the patio and the pool which is 3 foot below; so this may not be suitable for some families with younger children/toddlers.

The Fuerteventura region

The Jandia peninsula of Fuerteventura is a nature reserve separated from the rest of the island and bordered almost completely by vast beaches of white sand. A large sandy fringe of nearly some 20 kilometers in length and more than one kilometer wide in some areas, is the site of two tourist resorts: Costa Calma, near the unequaled Playa de Sotavento, and Morro Jable.

One does not need to go far on Fuerteventura to find a perfect beach, even if you are intent on seeking out solitude away from other holidaymakers. The best can be found around Jandia, on the southern tip of the island. Juan Gomez is one of these, with a stretch of golden sand, reached by turning off of the Morro Jable-Punta de Jandia road. In the same section of the island is the secluded beach of La Pared, with right next door the beach of Viejo Rey, a long stretch of golden sand flanked by dunes.

For real peace and quiet the black volcanic sand of Giniginamar is recommended, surrounded by palm trees and other indigenous plants. For true remote beaches tourists can hire a 4WD and explore the tracks leading to the sea on the west coast. Nudism is tolerated on all the island’s beaches.

The La Pared area

La Pared is a beautiful village situated between the mountains and a national nature reserve area. The village faces due west and offers sunny days; spectacular sun sets and star lit nights (you have never seen so many stars!)

The village of La Pared is situated on the south west coast of Fuerteventura 6 km from the larger resort of Costa Calma. Unknown to many, the south of the island is far quieter and far less developed than the north. It offers the discerning traveler the opportunity to get away from the crowds and actually see local life as it is rather than being influenced by the commercialism prevalent in some resorts in the north of the island. The Village is a 45-50 minute drive from the airport and does truly offer the opportunity for you to base yourself to travel and explore this beautiful and unspoilt island, especially the south.

Within the village there are two excellent restaurants (La Bahia & El Camello), a friendly bar (Tina’s) and short golf course with practice range, and 2 surf schools for the more adventurous.

Access to a selection of almost private beaches (never more than 10-20 people there) is via a dirt road at the end of the village but very worthwhile for those who seek privacy and isolation. The only other regular users of the beaches are the surfers. Please note that La Pared beach/sea has strong currents and care should be taken when surfing and or swimming here.

There are also plenty of excellent calmer sea beaches at Costa Calma only 5 minutes drive away.

There are plenty of shops for all your needs and supermarkets in Costa Calma and the town hosts a street market on Sundays and Wednesdays for the buying of local craft goods and gift items.

Nearby to the Villa there are many other activities available such as horse riding, quad bikes, cycle hire, wind surfing, kite boarding etc and in late July each year the beaches of Sotovento just south (1km) of Costa Calma hosts the World Wind Surfing championships. There also an abundance of large and small more private beaches within a very small drive of the villa. Please be aware that many of these beaches allow both topless and nude sunbathing.

As well as the short golf course in La Pared there is a brand new professional 18 hole course just opened in Las Playitas (20mins by car) and in Costa Colletta (45mins drive) there are 2 courses, one which hosted the 2004 Spanish Open and next door there is a second excellent course. All of these courses have excellent club house facilities attached to them and club hire is available.

The local resorts and towns such as Jandia, More Jable, Corfette, Gran Tarajal and La Lajita (with an excellent botanical garden, zoo, aviary and camel rides etc within 10km) are all worthy of a visit with many fine local tavernas and restaurants with friendly locals.

Due to the location and to enjoy the surrounding areas car hire is essential here. As the Island is part of Spain, driving is on the right but there are NO traffic lights.

“Perfect Relaxation” We've just returned from a very enjoyable week at Casa Feliz. The villa is perfect in that it is not in a tourist resort but the village has 2 excellent restaurants (El Camello, Bahia Mar) and a short drive to another (Mirador de Sotavento). We ate at all of these, Camello twice, and they were very good. The nights we cooked in the villa we found everything we needed The whole villa is really well equipped. It was good to find the basics (water, milk, tea, coffee, beer, also oil and condiments) in the fridge and cupboards. Also nice to have access to clean towels, This is our 3rd visit to Fuerteventura and this is our favourite villa. We also prefer the south of the Island. Morro Jable we found nicer than Costa Calma but to be honest the beach was crowded. It was much nicer down at La Pared beach which was almost deserted. The Barlovento coast, whilst not great for swimming, has spectacular sunsets, lovely on the terrace of balcony with a chilled rioja blanco. Also we enjoyed spending time on the headland near Bahia Mar watching the huge waves roll in and hit the rocks, sending huge spumes of spray some 15/20 feet into the air. This is a grear villa if you want peace and quiet and something different to a tourist resort, but yet not too isolated. Pedro is very friendly and helpful, also Michael who looks after the pool.

“The perfect quiet retreat” Booking this villa couldn't be easier. Alan is very helpful and co-operative in all matters and questions. I was looking for a quiet peaceful retreat to recharge our batteries and found it at Casa Feliz. If you too are looking for a lovely villa far from the crowds in a quiet village, then this is for you.The villa has everything you will need for your stay, from iron to ice machine! Both restaurants in the village are fabulous and fair priced, and Tina's Bar welcomes all visitors. Be advised though, you will need a car to get around, and make sure your phone works abroad !

“"Far from the Madding Crowd"” Casa Feliz is a haven of tranquility - quietly located, very comfortable, exceptionally well equipped with stunning views and sunsets to die for. Be prepared to drive a bit but the roads are not busy & are easy to navigate. Costa Calma is very close by though we found it a bit of a strange & sprawling place and preferred the traditional spanish resort of La Lajitas a few minutes in the opposite direction. The supermarket there is large & well stocked with lovely staff where pidgeon spanish & sign language are warmly received. In summary, If you are looking for a bolt hole away from the stresses of work & the daily grind then look no further. We loved it so much part of us wants to shout it from the rafters, other parts say we want to be selfish & keep it secret..............

“Got to Love It” Well we wanted quiet and secluded and that is what we got. La Pared is a quiet village and Casa Feliz is one of only about 14 holiday villas in the whole village, all the rest of the properties were owned by locals. The Villa offered a great place to relax and unwind and the sunsets were breathtaking. Fully equipped it was a perfect retreat for the two of us and we have already booked to go back next year.

“wonderful location with easy access to great beaches.” Alan makes the booking procedure very easy,with prompt replies etc.The villa is in a quiet residential area,within easy reach of great beaches and interesting villages. The villa is very well equipped for self catering etc,although excellent restaurants nearby. The beds are extremely comfortable. Cant wait for our next visit in november.

“Lovely Villa in a Quiet Location” We had a perfect holiday in this lovely villa. It was equipped with everything we could possibly need and was located away from the bustling towns of the east coast in the quiet area of La Pared. Unfortunately parts of La Pared itself seems to have suffered from the effects of the economic recession with broken lamp posts and poorly tended public gardens but Casa Feliz and the neighbouring villas were immaculate. Eating breakfast on the balcony overlooking sea views was a treat each morning.

“Lovely villa, very quiet with a great sea view” We found villa Feliz very relaxing and well equipped. The elevated position gave great views over the village of La Pared to the sea. Two minutes drive to a couple of good restaurants in particular La Camello and Tinas Bar. If your party was for six people the pool is a bit narrow but nice and long at some 9 metres. Also there are no steps into the shallow end.

“Perfekte Ferien im Winter” Gut ausgestattetes Haus in ruhiger Lage. Mit allem ausgestattet, nett und komfortabel eingerichtet. Sichere Entfernung zum Riesenrummel in Costa Calma. Mietwagen empfehlenswert, feine nicht überlaufene Badestrände sind 10 Autominuten entfernt. Im Ort La Pared selbst sind zwei gute Restaurants und auch ein kleiner Laden. Alles bequem fussläufig zu erreichen. Die obere und auch die untere Terrasse sind geschützt und bieten einen tollen Blick auf das Meer. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistung Verhältnis Abwicklung vor Ort absolut unproblematisch. Wir waren angenehm überrascht und können dieses Quartier uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

All rental bookings are taken on the basis of a minimum of 50% deposit paid at time of booking and then the balance must be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival at the villa. On short notice / last minute bookings payment must be made in full at the time of booking.

In addition to the villa rental price there is an additional fee of 90€ payable locally on arrival to cover the cost for meeting you at the villa on arrival and cleaning prior to arrival and on departure.

If you want the pool to be heated there is an additional charge of £95 per week (that is what it costs to heat in the winter- there is little need in the summer)

The balance payment must be paid at least 8 weeks before departure if it is not paid on time you will forfeit your deposit and we reserve the right to re-let the villa.

Check out time is 10.00 with arrivals after 15.00 (if there is no previous or following booking, then with prior agreement an earlier arrival or later checkout can be arranged at our discretion)

CANCELLATION FEE

On all cancellations if there are at least 12 weeks notice then half of the deposit will be returned

If there are less than 12 weeks notice given then the deposit will be lost

If less than 8 weeks notice then final balance is due regardless or unless the property is re-let to another tenant.

Payment must be made by Bank Transfer with booking to reserve dates.

PayPal can be used but there is a 5%surcharge to cover the PayPal fees.
