Located in La Marina, around 15 minutes from Alicante airport and 30 minutes from Murcia airport, El Pinet is a truly exclusive place for a relaxing break in the sun.
With shopping centres, restaurants, golf courses and stunning beachfront just yards from the villa - this is the perfect place for you.
There are protected dunes, a nature reserve and salt flats nearby. La Marina beach has Blue Flag status. The villa is ideal for a relaxing beach/pool holiday and is an ideally placed centre for exploration and touring. For golfers there are many courses - La Marquesa is 10min away at Quesada, Las Ramblas and Villa Martin are about 20min away. The famous complex at La Manga is about an hour away.
The La Marina / El Pinet area

The area around El Pinet is an idyllic setting and is in a prime location for both beach and wildlife lovers. The charming Spanish village of La Marina has a variety of supermarkets, bakeries, butcher, newsagents, chemist, optician, hardware shops and several restaurants and bar/cafes.
La Marina is very Spanish in character, but it manages to provide all the little extras to let you enjoy your stay. For example English newspapers are available (published on the same day) and there's an English supermarket. There is a tourist information office, pharmacy, travel agency, many shops, bars and restaurants.
The El Pinet/La Marina beaches are superb - cleaned every day, lifeguards on duty in the season, beach bars/restaurants, toilets and a superb web climbing frame for the kids. Just a kilometre or so inland lies the urbanization of La Marina. This boasts an extensive range of facilities from large supermarkets to internet cafes and a snooker club. There's is a wide variety of restaurants - Chinese, Indian etc.
The property is only 50 minutes from Benidorm Terra Mitica and Aqualandia themeparks.

Fly to Alicante airport - El Pinet is approximately 15 minutes south by car.

Arrangements to be collected and returned to the airport can be made, if required. Car hire is also available at Alicante airport. Hertz car hire is recommended as they offer a hiring service from Alicante airport. There are also plenty of taxi services available.
Alicante is well connected by train and offers plenty of links to elsewhere in Spain.

Absolutely fantastic villa.....................everything you could wish for and more. Like home from home, immaculately clean, comfortable, swimming pool lush, minutes from a sandy beach with restaurant and not far from local village or supermarket to stock up. To view farther afield....................car recommended although not essential. |

The location of this villa is perfect! Not too commercialised and only minutes from the local village. The garden is nice and private, unlike some others nearby, the pool is amazing, and when lit up at night it's lovely to take a dip in the moonlight. The villa itself has everything you could need, everything is stunning. It was exceptionally clean and tidy, fully equipped kitchen, and lovely leather couches in the lounge. The pool, surrounded by sun loungers was where we spent most of our time, and made our holiday. The area was amazing, the local village was within walking distance but we hired a car and had a few days out, venturing off to Benidorm one of the days. Would I recommend it? I just booked for 2012 so I guess I would!!!!! |
