Completed April 2005, this newly built air conditioned modern home is situated in the established Urbanisation (Town) of La Marina near Alicante. The house has an excellent position in a quiet residential area with little passing traffic.
The town house is split into 2 apartments, each with it's own access.
This ground floor apartment is furnished to a very high standard and equipped with many extras. The large attractive lounge offers a very comfortable seating area to relax and watch DVDs, in addition there is a dining table with four chairs. This room has both a ceiling fan and a hot & cold air conditioning unit.
There are two bedrooms, both with wardrobes and ceiling fans. Bedroom one has a double size bed and bedroom two has two 3ft. single beds.
The kitchen is well equipped with microwave oven, toaster, gas hob and separate oven, fridge freezer, kettle, and breakfast bar for your snacks. There is also a filtered water system fitted so bottled drinking water is no longer required. A washing machine is also available for your use, which is situated directly outside the apartment in a purpose built cupboard.
The bathroom has been tastefully decorated which includes a bath with overhead shower, vanity unit and WC.
There is a communal pool approx 25 yards away for your use. There are also two other locally run swimming pools within a 5 minute drive or approximately 15 minute walk away.
The unspoilt town and beautiful beaches of La Marina are only a 5-minute drive from this apartment.
This is an area where there is plenty to do with beaches, water sports, Safari Park, horse riding, shopping and general sightseeing all close by.
There are two cities within 30 minutes drive - Alicante to the north, Elche to the north west and two major international airports close by – Alicante 25 minutes and Murcia's San Javia - 45 minutes drive.

The balance and an additional security payment of £100 cheque sterling is to be paid 8 weeks prior to departure to cover possible breakages, key loss etc. (See booking form for full details).
Late bookings (Less than12 weeks to departure) should be accompanied by full payment plus the £100 security to the owners Mr & Mrs Andrews.
On arrival, we ask that you please check contents itinerary sheet and report any problems to us within 24 hours of arrival. The £100 security deposit will be refunded upon inspection and key returned within 14 dyas.
Conditions
This is a no smoking property however smokers are welcome but are requested to refrain from smoking indoors in consideration to other guests. Smoking is permitted on the patio.

If golf is your thing then the southern part of the Costa Blanca has several good golf courses. La Marina’s closest golf course is La Marquesa which is situated at Rojales about 5 miles away. Within a 20 minute drive are Las Ramblas, Villa Martin, a championship golf course and Campoamor. The famous golf courses at La Manga are approximately 45 minutes drive.
There are numerous places to visit for both young and old during your stay on the Costa Blanca. Terra Mitica Theme Park is an excellent day out for all age groups. Few people can resist a visit to the Salvador Artesano Shoe Factory Outlet at Elche
For the children's there is Pola Park - A funtatstic attraction park for children. Located on the N-332 just north of La Marina. You will see the park as you travel from Alicante Airport on the left hand side of the road.
The La Marina / La Marina Complex area
La Marina is situated approximately 20 minutes from Alicante Airport, 10 minutes from Guardamar, 20 minutes from Torrevieja and 6 minutes drive from the beach on the southern part of the Costa Blanca.
La Marina is a well developed urbanisation (town). It’s local amenities include several banks, public swimming pools, a snooker club, bowling club, Local supermarkets, national health doctor, private clinic, pharmacy, newsagents and plenty of bars and restaurants (English, Spanish, Italian and German).
Having just one main road running through the village with numerous plazas and roads running off of it makes it easy to find your way around and everything that you require can be found here with the exception of a large supermarket, but there are five on the urbanisation itself.
In La Marina, there are two public swimming pools. The Hillside Pool/Bar & Snooker Hall is located between Calle Bilbao and Calle Andalucia. It is the smaller of the two but has sunbed hire and a snooker club adjoining it.
The Hillside Pool/Bar also has regular entertainment in the evening. Thursday night is Quiz night. Friday & Saturday nights regular live acts are in house for your entertainment. Every Sunday night it’s Karaoke - A night to remember and highly recommended.
The other public pool is by the Satellite roundabout and is part of the La Marina sports complex which incorporates the bowling club. Admission is per day, but includes sunbed hire for those of you without access to a private or communal pool. If you are planning a lazy holiday you can buy a weekly ticket.
There is a good bus service in La Marina to all the local towns and markets as well as to La Marina beaches in the summer. The bus service runs to Santa Pola and Alicante to the north and Guardamar, Torrevieja and as far as Cartagena in the south and stops along the main road through the village. From the end of June until the first week in September there is also a bus service from the urbanisation down to La Marina beach. There is also a local bus service to Orihuela, Elche and the local villages in the Vega Baja.
The Blue Flag of the EU waves over the beaches of La Marina. This symbolizes clean water and quality beaches, which are equipped with a full range of installations and services. For Example:- Open Beach, Unspoiled Beach, Fine Sand, Calm Sea, Tourist Information, Walkways, WC, Hotels, Campsite, Restaurants, Car Park, Public Telephone, Bus Stop, Coastguard, Foot Showers, Sports, Games.

Our home, situated in the lovely urbanization of La Marina, is a quick 20 minute drive from Alicante Airport. Many airlines fly into Alicante such as Monarch, Easyjet, BMI and more.
