About the home

Self catering villa which sleeps upto 4 people in a double and twin bedrooms. Within a 5 minute walk there is a fantastic swimmingpool complex (payable localy), which provides restaurants, bars, bowling green & a children's play area. A further pool complex, crazy golf, etc is about 20 minutes walk. Within a 10 minute walk are numerous bars, restaurants serving international & spanish cuisine, banks & supermarkets and much more. The urbanisation has full Doctor & Farmacy facilities should the need arise!

The villa benefits from 2 patio areas with sun all day, ideal for that alfresco dining with a glass of wine or two. Or just soak up the sun for those lazy days. Local buses run to & from the beach during the summer months and taxis are available 24 hours a day. A bus service runs to other towns in the surrounding area including service to benidorm, details available from the tourist information office on the urbanisation.

The villa has 2 spacious bedrooms, one a double and one with twin beds for that added flexability. Wardrobes and bedside cabinets with table lamps complete the rooms. There is a fully equipped kitchen / dining room, a separate lounge with a 3 seater and 2 seater settees, furnished in a typical spanish style. The designer shower room is finished to a high standard.

To the exterior of the villa are two tiled and paved patio areas, ideal for sunbathing and dining. The dining terrace has a patio table, 4 chairs and a sun umbrella should the sun be a bit too much!

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Alicante city is just 25km to the north, with its evening market on the esplinade and famous castillo de sta Barbera. Guardarmar and Santa Pola are within 5 km and Torrevieja is just 15km to the south. These towns have numerous Tapas and sea food restaurants. The beautiful old town of Elche is 10km inland and is famous for its thousands of palm trees.It is known as the City of Palms. Fiestas are frequent with processions and fireworks.

There is sea fishing available from the beach and fresh water fishing on the banks of the Segura at Guardamar.
La Marquesa golf course is a 10 minute drive away at Roales. Las Ramblas, Campomor, Villamartin and other golf courses are about a 20 minute drive.

Terra Mitica & Terra Natura can be found by Benidorm, a 45 minute drive away. Great to visit!

The La Marina / La Marina Complex area

La Marina is a costal village on the Costa Blanca. It is a typical Spanish village with good tapas bars and restaurants. The blue flag beach is about 15km long, with the odd taverna dotted along its length. The beach is very family friendly and has life guards during the summer months. A naturist section can be found tucked away at the end of the beach for the more adventurous.

The urbanisation provides a huge selection of facilities -chinese,indian,italian,spanish and english restaurants. There is a large variety of different types of bars,internet cafes,souvenir shops, banks etc.

There are markets in La Marina on Thursday and Sunday.Every day of the week sees markets somewhere in the area -Santa Pola,Guardamar,La Mata, Torrevieja etc.
