This is a brand new villa for 2007 in a gated development with gardens and large communal pool. .Attractive & well appointed detached Villa which has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and can sleep 8 plus a baby (travel cot provided) so ideal for 2 families to share. It is fully equipped with all the modern comforts of home and has air conditioning (hot &cold) and energy efficient heaters in the bedrooms, for winter usage, installed for your comfort.


The Villa is in a quiet location with little traffic and views from the roof terrace of El Hondo nature reserve The large communal pool on the development is just around the corner from the villa & is totally secure. The nearest shops, bars & restaurants are within easy walking distance and the rather excellent blue flag beach a five minute drive.

For golf lovers La Marquesa is 5 minutes drive away and Las Ramblas, Royal Compomar, Villa Martin La Finca are all within a 30 minute journey.

Inexpensive car hire including 9 seater vehicles can be arranged for airport collection or collect in resort- no credit card required and only pay for fuel that you use!

The Villa ground floor comprises of a spacious lounge and dining area with open plan marble staircase. In the lounge you will fiind a three seater leather sofa and a three seater sofa bed, dining table with seating for 6. TV with English channels. XBox with a good selection of games to keep the kids entertained.The villa is fully installed with hot & cold air conditioning for both winter & summer use.
A small hallway leades to:

~ Fully fitted, well equipped modern kitchen with everything you need to "dine in" if that is your preference.
~ Bedroom with 2 single beds and double wardrobe
~ Bathroom complete with shower enclosure.

On the first floor you will find the

~ Master bedroom, with double bed and fitted wardrobes. Patio doors that lead onto a tiled large terrace with
quality furniture.For families travelling with a baby a cot is available for use. Securely fitted saftey deposit box.

~ First bedroom, with single bed and pull out single bed.Fitted wardrobes. This bedroom also has patio doors and its own
private terrace with quality furniture.

~ Modern fully tiled bathroom, with vanity unit , bath, shower & bidet etc.

A further marbled staircase from the 1st floor leads to a large rooftop terrace with panoramic views where you will find the washing machine & plenty of drying area.

~ 50 euros to be paid locally to our representative for changeover cleaning who will meet you at the villa wth keys & show you around etc. For groups of more than 6 guests the cleaning charge is 70 euros

Conditions

~ Strictly no smoking except on the terraces.
~ Refundable breakages deposit of £100 required before arrival to be refunded within two weeks of your
departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection)
~ Deposit of £100 per week on booking & balance of rental 6 weeks before arrival
~ Payment can be made by cheque or debit/credit card via paypal. If using paypal an additional 3.5% charge
is applied to cover costs & payment is required to be processed 7 weeks before departure.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The town of La Marina is conveniently situated an easy 20 minute drive south from Alicante airport ,or 45 mins north of Murcia airport and is flanked by the beautiful mediterranean sea and picturesque countryside leading up to the mountainous backdrop behind Orihuela, View of El Hondo nature reserve is a sight to see from the rooftop solarium as the sun sets.

A five minute drive from the Villa are miles of unspoilt sandy beaches, backed by sand dunes and pine forest, a popular place with the locals for a sheltered picnic or siesta, and for the children to play out of the midday sun.



For Golf lovers there is an array of courses in the area, from Rojales which is five minutes away to La Finca, Villa Martin, Royal Compomar and Las Ramblas that are all within 20 minutes.

For a view of historical Spain, a visit to Guardalest in the mountains is a must, with breath taking views over the mountains and lakes below.

For the more adventurous, Tera Mitica near Benidorm is a forty five minute drive.

The La Marina / La Marina Complex area

The Villa is in a very quiet location but is close to all ameneties including bars, restaurants, outdoor markets, supermarket,butcher and pharmacy etc. which are within 10/15 min walking distance.There is a local spanish bar just around the corner - a 2 minute walk.

A car is not necessary as transportation from airport to villa is inexpensive.Bus services are also available on the urbanisation with a regular service to the beach in summer. However, car hire is failrly inexpensive & can be arranged for airport collection & drop off. If you want to explore the region then car hire is recommended.

Market days in this area are every day and a way of life! You will find several alternatives to choose from if you wish to browse or hunt for a bargain.
The market at La Marina is twice a week and the bigger events are at Almoradi on a saturday and Los Montesinos on Sunday, which is a family event. Both of these are within 10 mins of the Villa.

The nearest town to La Marina is Guardamar del segura, which itself has an excellent beach front, with a selection of cafes restaurants, shopping and an evening market around the park during the summer months.

Elche is a 20 minute drive away and has superb municipal gardens along the banks of the river, or wander into the town, where there's an array of historic buildings, small shops, cafes and restaurants.

Torrevieja is a 20minute drive and has plenty of shops, including some large shopping centres on the outskirts and a very nice marina for those relaxing days out. For the children or the young at heart, there is also a large waterpark open in the summer months.

Also for the children, apart from the miles and miles of beautiful sandy beaches, there are several water parks in the area, an excellent choice is at Quesada, this is about 15 minutes from La Marina, this park is well laid out, safe and less busy which allows for a relaxed atmosphere in which to keep an eye on the children.

On "La Marina" you will find an Olympic sized pool(small fee to enter) and the complex has a selection of children's rides, restaurant, bar with evening entertainment. It also comes complete with a flat green bowling area.

“fantastic villa all mod cons great location and community” we really enjoyed our stay, great villa, all mod cons, the location was fantastic and the community great. weather was fantastic for january. this was our second stay at this villa last time it was november 3 years ago and i would recommend it to all. my family is 17 years down to 1 year old and there was something for all of them to do. mike the key holder is excellent very helpful, deborah who owns the villa is brill, very helpful, great communication with both of them. if you are planning a stay here i would recommend the chinese down by the consum shopping centre excellent food quality. fantastic range of pubs irish & english plus plenty of different restaurants a short distance away. thanx deb for a great hoilday we will definitly be going back for our third stay. aaaaa+++++++++++ Response: Its great to hear that you had another great holiday at our villa! Fantastic that the weather was nice and sunny for you and therefore the whole family could enjoy some winter sunshine. It will be a pleasure to welcome you back again. “Brilliant holiday- so realxing” Deb, the owner was so fantastic and helpful from the start. We didn't hire a car but felt that this would have been more beneficial trhoughout our stay. However, we enjoyed the fantatsic pool facilities, which were never overcrowded even in high summer! The little supermarket up the hill was fantastic and there were some lovely bars up by there too to quench your thirst! The kids all loved it and we had no choice but to relax. Nicely away from the major hustle and bustle, which suited us fine. Would definitely come back. 8 of us stayed in the villa but the sofa bed had seen better days, therefore would probably stay no more than 6 in future. Mike the local contact was great and a fountain of knowledge and really helped make our stay good. Response: Many thanks for your feedback! “A Perfect Place to Stay” A beautiful holiday villa equipped with everything that you could possibly want for your stay in Spain. Spotlessly clean and fantastic sun balconies from the main bedrooms. Only 5 minutes away from a lovely clean beach and close other places of interest for days out. We had a fantastic time on our holiday here and would thoroughly recommend this villa to anyone that's considering staying.....you can't go wrong here at all !!!
