About the home

The villa terraces, swimming pool, grounds and all the outside areas are for your exclusive use, the owners are not there during the summer, the only part of the villa which you can not use is the inside of the villa upstairs.

We are pleased to offer this beautiful large and spacious self contained ground floor apartment for rent. Ideally situated for those who want to get away for a quiet holiday, being a self contained ground floor apartment on a 1000sq metre corner plot with a 8 x 4 metre swimming pool and large sun terraces. 5 minute drive to the urbanisation of La Marina.

In the main living area of this ground floor apartment you will find a spacious dining area with table and 4 chairs, the lounge area is furnished with 3 - seater settee and a 2 seater settee, side board, coffee table, TV, DVD player and fireplace.

The Kitchen comes fully equipped with dish washer, fridge freezer, cooker, oven, electric kettle, toaster, microwave, Iron, utensils, crockery and cutlery are on hand as you would expect. Washing machine and Ironing board is in the adjacent utility room, which also has a WC and shower.

The Master bedroom has a double size bed, bedside cabinets, wardrobe and fan.

The Second bedroom has 2 single beds, bedside cabinets, wardrobe and fan.

Master bathroom with bath, separate shower, WC and wash hand basin.

Large front terrace with table and chairs over looking the 8 x 4 metre swimming pool with roman steps and is surrounded by spacious terraces with sun lounges, table and chairs, there is also a barbecue area.

There is a park area with slides and swings for the children. Within a 10 minute walk there are two restaurants and a bar.

Please note that a 20% reservation deposit is payable on booking, and the balance is payable 8 weeks before your holiday. All credit card payments will incur a 4% surcharge. There is also a returnable damage deposit, For longer winter breaks, reduced rates are negotiable. All prices include electricity, linen and water, Please supply own beach towels. There is a one off 50 Euros cleaning charge. Cot and Highchair hire are also available.

The unspoilt town and beautiful beaches of La Marina Village are within a 5-minute drive from this property. This is an area where there is plenty to do with beaches, water sports, Safari Park, horse riding, shopping and general sightseeing all close by. Only 15 minute drive to the city of Elche and within 30 minutes drive from Alicante and two major international airports close by Alicante 20 minutes and Murcia's San Javia 35 minutes drive. 6 championship Golf Courses within 30 minutes drive from this property. Bounded by the beautiful Mediterranean on one side and thousands of acres of fruit groves inland. The scenery is breathtakingly beautiful and within moments you can be driving in picturesque open countryside, where you can stop and pick a fresh orange or lemon and enjoy the fabulous bounty that nature has gifted to this part of the world.

The La Marina / La Escuera area

Elche to the north-west is the capital of the El Baix district and the Valencian region's third largest city in terms of population. Elche had its original location at L'Alcudia where the bust of the Lady of Elche was found, however the Moors moved the city to its current position, surrounded by groves of palm trees. Today over 300,000 officially protected palm trees in the city lend it a somewhat exotic air. These palms are evident on every street corner and can be especially enjoyed in the well-tended city park and just a short walk away in the Huerto del Cura (Priest's Garden), where a palm in the form of a seven-armed candelabra is a good example of the freaks of nature.
