At the front of the apartment is the 8 x 4 metre swimming pool, barbecue area and sun terraces within a 5 minute drive you have the lovely sandy beach of La Marina which stretches some 17 kilometres from Santa Pola to Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Elche to the north-west is the capital of the El Baix district and the Valencian region's third largest city in terms of population. Elche had its original location at L'Alcudia where the bust of the Lady of Elche was found, however the Moors moved the city to its current position, surrounded by groves of palm trees. Today over 300,000 officially protected palm trees in the city lend it a somewhat exotic air. These palms are evident on every street corner and can be especially enjoyed in the well-tended city park and just a short walk away in the Huerto del Cura (Priest's Garden), where a palm in the form of a seven-armed candelabra is a good example of the freaks of nature. In the historical, old section of the city amongst the most interesting sights are the Altamira Palace, the Basilica of Santa Maria, the Moorish fortress and the Moorish Baths.
The municipal park in Elche is a wonderful place to enjoy both the sun and the shade. The park is filled with tall palms, water features, bandstands and much more. On the other side of the road is the outdoor swimming pool and the sports park where all manner of sports take place. The River Vinalopo runs through Elche and has several impressive crossing points. If you stay close to the river you are guaranteed to see the best of the sights including the Basilica, the Palacio, the Museo de la Festa and the old town market. The tourist board can issue you with a street plan that has suggested routes marked on it to ensure you get the most from your visit. All over Elche are splendid buildings with intricate stonework and a fair share of statues and monuments. Look out for the Lady of Elche. Make sure you have good walking shoes on and take plenty of water with you.
La Marina area
The unspoilt town and beautiful beaches of La Marina Village are only a 5-minute drive from this villa. This is an area where there is plenty to do with beaches, water sports, Safari Park, horse riding, shopping and general sightseeing all close by. Only 15 minute drive to the city of Elche and within 30 minutes drive from Alicante and two major international airports close by – Alicante 20 minutes and Murcia's San Javia - 35 minutes drive. 6 championship Golf Courses within 30 minutes drive from this property. Bounded by the beautiful Mediterranean on one side and thousands of acres of fruit groves inland. The scenery is breathtakingly beautiful and within moments you can be driving in picturesque open countryside, where you can stop and pick a fresh orange or lemon and enjoy the fabulous bounty that nature has gifted to this part of the world.

The Kitchen comes fully equipped with fridge freezer, cooker, oven, electric kettle, toaster, microwave, Iron, utensils, crockery and cutlery are on hand as you would expect. Washing machine and Ironing board is in the adjacent utility room, which also has a WC and shower.
The Master bedroom has a double size bed, bedside cabinets, wardrobe and fan.
The Second bedroom has 2 single beds, bedside cabinets, wardrobe and fan.
Master bathroom with bath, separate shower, WC, bidet and wash hand basin.
Further details outdoors: Large front terrace with table and chairs over looking the 8 x 4 metre swimming pool with roman steps and is surrounded by spacious terraces with sun lounges, table and chairs, there is also a barbecue area.
Only a 3 minute drive from the urbanisation of La Marina which has 4 Large Supermarkets and plenty of bars some offering nigh time entertainment, restaurants and shops. A popular local market is held on Thursdays and Sundays - again within 5 minutes drive of the apartment, which is great for all those holiday souvenirs and presents for the family. Spend the morning strolling past the stalls, stop for the odd refreshment or two and then buy a roasted chicken from the stall and venture back home for lunch.
