Home description
Beautiful, luxury, well appointed ground floor apartment with large elevated verandah. Local bars/restaurants and the child friendly beach is only a 5 minute stroll away. There is also a BBQ for those warm nights eating al-fresco and relaxing on the verandah, (please ensure you only use the BBQ in the driveway).
There is a large shared pool and baby pool.
The apartment caters for all your holiday needs and has large fans in all of the rooms. It also has electric heaters for the winter.
The apartment boasts 2 good sized bedrooms with fitted wardrobes and has a fully fitted kitchen with modern appliances.
The apartment is situated in a new up and coming area called Mar De Cristal on the Mar Menor. Mar De Cristal has a handful of beach bars/local restaurants and a marina, all within a 5 minute walk. A 20 minute walk will bring you to other places such as Los Belones which is a lovely Spanish village. Los Belones boasts many bars and restaurants serving national and international cuisine. The world famous La Manga Club resort is a 5 minute drive away and has a vast array of shops, restaurants and bars as well as 3 championship golf courses. La Manga strip is another 5 minute drive away which is very busy and has a large selection of bars, clubs and restaurants. The beautiful, traditional fishing port of Cabo De Palos is also a 5 minute drive away.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
The Costa Calida is situated on the South East coast of mainland Spain. It is the driest area on the mainland and boasts an average 320 days of sunshine each year. It is therefore an ideal holiday destination all year round.
The Mar Menor is the largest salt water lake in Europe. It enjoys warm shallow waters and is ideal for watersports and excellent for families with young children.
The area is ideal for walkers and cyclists due to the land being relatively flat. The Mar Menor coastline is approximately 40 kilometres long and has numerous villages and larger resorts well worth visiting.
Again, a short 5 minute drive away is the Calblanque National Park. The park is an area of outstanding natural beauty and offers many secluded beaches where you can enjoy surfing on the big waves.
La Manga Del Mar Menor / Mar De Cristal area
There are numerous activities for all ages within and around Mar De Cristal. These include horse riding, snorkelling, go-karting, jet skiing and a newly opened, quality Tennis Club (which recently moved from La Manga Club). You can take a course of tennis lessons with the local professionals.
5 minutes drive away is La Manga Club which has 3 championship golf courses, spa facilities and numerous bars and restaurants all open to the public.
Various markets are in the area with the one at Cabo De Palos on Sunday mornings being one of the best and biggest, (be there early)!!
How to get there
The nearest airport is Murcia, San Javier. It is about a 15 minute drive away. All low cost airlines fly to Murcia including Jet2, Ryanair, Monarch and Easyjet. You can also fly to Alicante which is about an 80 minute drive away.
You can also hire taxis from the above airports to the apartment. I can also arrange an airport pick-up service. Please ask for the upto date prices when booking.
