Shops and Restaurants: There are a few boutiques and a very large supermarket again 5 minutes from the apartment. The supermarket is open everyday of the year with exception to bank holidays. There are a huge selection of restaurants on your doorsteps, this is not a British holiday resort and the restaurants reflect this. There is an air of calmness in the area. The restaurant are a mixture of cosmopolitan styles. One set of restauranrs overlook the Marina, the other set of restaurants overlook the calm waters of the Mar Menor and fantastic sunsets. There are over 30 restaurants to choose from all walking distance.

Nearest City, Cartagena: Cartagena, is full of culture. Only 40 minutes away. It is Spain best example of Boroque Buildings, dates back to Roman times and has the remains of a Roman theatre. Has lots of museums, mainly specialising in Maritime. Has a fantastic port, full of restaurants, the city itself has a huge selection of shops.
Gocarting La Manga: This caters for adults and children from 5 years upwards. There are two courses and the price depends on the engine size off the Gocart.
Cyling Tours: Steve Runs Mountain bike tours around the surrounding areas, tailer made to all levels. Some for example cyling, then taking the bike by boat accross the mar menor to a nature reserve full of flamingos, then lunch at a traditional Spanish Restaurant then back home.
La Manga Del Mar Menor / Tomas Maestre Marina area
This is a very well equipped spacious apartment, overlooking the port of Tomas Meastre. The living area, balcony and one of the bedrooms directly over look the Marina, benefits from fantastic sea views and fantastic sunsets. The apartment complex includes a tennis court, which you have to book, and swimming Pool. The apartment is in a low rise building easily accessible being on the first floor. Plenty of parking outside, and an under ground car parking space is included. The apartment is English Managed, and Steve is on hand should you require any local information.
