A luxury penthouse apartment with Private Roof Top Solarium and Stunning Views across both the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean Sea. The added bonus of renting our apartment is having the use of the roof top solarium fully equipped with Barbecue, Sun Loungers, Table and Chairs, a great place to dine in the evening and sunbathe in private. during the day, costing not much more than a standard apartment. With an excellent new on site supermarket including a well stocked fish section & coffee shop the apartment really does have everthing you would need for a self catering holiday.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region

The La Manga Strip has a unique position in Europe, between two Seas, the Mediterranean Sea and the crystal clear waters of the Mar Menor. The apartment is located overlooking the largest marina in the area The Tomas Maestre Marina, near the tip of the strip. It is not far from the Cosmopolitan City of Murcia and the Historical City of Cartagena with its wonderful port. Close to all Restaurants, Bars and Shops and boasts an enviable front line position with the opportunity to watch the sailing ships return to the marina and to witness some of the most fantastic sunsets you will ever see.

La Manga Del Mar Menor / Tomas Maestre Marina area

La Manga Strip : The La Manga Strip has many blue flag beaches. From the apartment you are no further than a few minutes away from either the crystal clear waters of the Mar Menor or the Mediterranean Sea. The Costa Calida (Warm Coast) can be as active or as relaxing as you choose. The climate is ideal for all kinds of outdoor activities, from horse-riding, to sailing and from golf to scuba diving. With over 320 days of sunshine and summer temperatures of 26 degrees it really is a paradise between two seas. Well served by shops, bars, banks, restaurants, close to the marina and all water sports the La Manga Strip has something for everyone. This is a place where the Spanish come to holiday, which guarantees you a real flavour of Spain. The fishing village at the beginning of the strip (Cabo De Palos) is a must visit with its atmosphere, Sunday market, restaurants and night life is a great night out.

The Mar Menor ; Our apartment is situated between both the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean Sea with shallow waters and the absence of tides make the Mar Menor the ideal place for lots of water sports. It is a magnificent natural swimming pool with temperatures which are maintained by a sun that shines for an average 320 days each year. The waters has saline content of 50% and are scientifically recognised as being therapeutic in the treatment of rheumatism, arthritis and many other ailments. The Black mud from the Mar Menor although creating a strange sight when first seen smothered over the body of visitors, is used to relieve the pain and the symptoms of these conditions. We also have the luxury of miles of unspoilt beaches.

Golf There is a 9 hole pitch & putt golf course with a driving range attached close by, or if you really want to spoil yourself, the La Manga Club Golf Resort with its 3 championship courses, casino, night clubs and various other facilities are only a short drive away. There are currently plans for 10 new golf courses to be built in the region of which 3 have already started.

Throughout the length of La Manga there are ten teaching centres (Escuelas de Vela) which means that no one need travel far to practice the water sport of their choosing. All of the centres offer the best and most up-to-date equipment with courses in sailing and wind-surfing tutored by qualified instructors who normally speak at least one language other then Spanish - normally English and/or German. Many of these schools also offer courses in the sailing of catamarans, canoeing, water skiing, and most other nautical sports including deep-sea diving. They are located on the shores of the Mar Menor in ideal conditions.

Apart from the water sports, La Manga offers a great variety of other activities. There are tennis clubs with courts open to the public all year round, plus paddle tennis and squash in addition to a roller-skating rink and full size go-kart track. The road which runs through La Manga has been built to offer the cyclist the safety of a cycle-lane and the absence of hills throughout the strip

We understand how important it is for you to be able to take your holiday when you want; we aim to be as flexible as possible with regard to duration of stay and arrival/departure dates. If you wish to book a shorted or longer stay than quoted, please contact us for prices. Flights are often less expensive during weekdays and allows you better choice with flights. So we are happy to accommodate arrival and departure on any day of the week subject to availability
