A luxury penthouse apartment with Private Roof Top terrace with luxury stone built barbecue and Stunning Views across both the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean Sea which is only 50 yards from the apartment. We are lucky to have the therapeutic mud right here - smother it on let it dry and wash off in the Mar Menor. Your skin will feel gorgeous and it's free!!!

The apartment really does have everything you would need for a self - catering holiday. The latest addition of a luxury stone built barbecue and patio set combine to make the terrace a place for entertaining in the evening.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
La Manga is situated in the beautiful Murcia region in southern Spain, blessed with secluded sun-kissed beaches and cooled by the warm breeze from the Mediterranean.
The long strip of land separating the Mediterranean from the Mar Menor (inland sea) is usually only one Kilometre across, which means you always have the choice of two beaches and are surrounded by sea. The Mar Menor is always warm and has a captivating charm with it’s array of fishing and sailing boats and water sports including jet skiing.
The bars and restaurants here pride themselves with quality service and food this is definitely not for the fast food junkies although one burger king has been allowed onto the exclusive La Manga strip. This area is the holiday resort for the Spanish and as such it has a pleasant mixture of holiday facilities but also supports a thriving resident population which speaks volumes for the quality and ambiance of the area, no British pubs or chips with everything!
This region has on average 320 days of sunshine each year. With the low amount of rainfall it is an ideal place for your holiday in both summer and winter. The winters are mild in comparison to that of England.
La Manga Del Mar Menor / Veneciola area
The immediate area has plenty to offer, there are watersports, golf, go-karting, shops & restaurants and the famous La Manga club is only a short distance from the apartment. The historic towns of Cartagena and Murcia are a short bus or car ride away. The apartment is within easy reach of everything so you'll be spoilt for choice!

Golf - There are numerous golf courses in this area and the exclusive La Manga Golf and Tennis club is only 20 minutes away and open to non-members. A new 9 hole course with Leisure and Health Cub facilities has recently opened and is only a 2 minute walk away. Whether you want a break away with a group of friends or you want to learn how to play golf, La Manga Club is just the right place. Swimming - The Mediterranean and the Mar Menor are safe swimming areas and both are on your doorstep. . The water is shallow and warm making it ideal for small children. The pool/jacuzzi is situated at the back of the building.
Water sports/Windsurfing - all available from the Marina and close to the apartment.
Shopping - A small supermarket opposite the apartment has most of the basic things you need. A larger well stocked supermarked is only 5 mins drive away near the marina. There is also a large shopping complex at nearby Cartegena (the place from where the Spanish armada set sail!).
Eating out - the strip boasts a wide variety of restaurants and tapas bars, great local food. Nearby the Thomas Maestre Marina has lots of good quality restaraunts and bars where you can dine out and look at the yachts and boats.
Night-clubs - Situated mainly in hotels on the strip and in the exclusive La Manga club, or at the beginning of the strip which will let you party all through the night.
Torrevieca and Alicante are well worth a visit and for a step back into the history of the area a visit to Murcia and Cartagena is a must.
How to get there
The apartment could not be easier to get to; only 40 mins from Murcia (St Javier) airport with a new International Airport due to open in Murcia 2009. Alternatively Alicante is only 60 mins drive and is served by many of the budget airlines.
Murcia is the nearest airport at 40kms from the apartment.

Further details indoors: We like to think that you will feel at home in our apartment with all the facilities and lifes little luxuies catered for. The apartment is suitable for all year round. Although we do not have central heating there is a portable heater should you require it for those colder (few and far between) evenings in the winter.
Further details outdoors: The property boasts a very large roof top Solarium terrace where you can dine 'Alfresco' using our own luxury stone build barbecue and sit on our new wooden patio set, or sunbathe on the comfy padded sun loungers and luxury hammock where the sun casts all day sunshine.
The shared outdoor pool is open 31st May until 31st October. The pool has the addition of a jacuzzi to lounge away in and enjoy the sun
Further details
The property has the benefit of being looked after by our English Management team who are only a short distance or phone call away should you need them. They are also able to, should you wish, collect you from the airport and take you to the apartment. During your stay they can also arrange to take you on many small excursions to nearby places of interest i.e. Cartagena, Cabo de Palos Sunday Market, or shopping at the nearby newly opened shopping complex amongst others. These can all be arranged direct with them for a small cost.
Conditions
There is a refundable deposit required on completion of booking. This is to cover any breakables/damages and will be fully refundable after final inspection of the property.
There is a charge of 60.00 euros for final cleaning and linen change to be paid to the Management team upon your arrival,
