About the home

A luxury penthouse apartment with Private Roof Top terrace with luxury stone built barbecue and Stunning Views across both the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean Sea which is only 50 yards from the apartment. We are lucky to have the therapeutic mud right here - smother it on let it dry and wash off in the Mar Menor. Your skin will feel gorgeous and it's free!!!

Fully furnished to a high standard, including ceiling fans in living room and all bedrooms, TV/DVD player and stereo. Ipod docking station. Three Bedrooms, the master bedroom having an En-suite Bathroom and private balcony. A further bathroom with shower for other guests. Fitted Kitchen with granite worktops, Lounge/Dining Room.

The added bonus of renting our apartment is having the private roof top terrace solarium, a great place to dine in the evening and sunbathe in private during the day on our comfy sunloungers and luxurious hammock, costing no more than a standard apartment. The apartment really does have everything you would need for a self - catering holiday. The latest addition of a luxury stone built barbecue and patio set combine to make the terrace a place for entertaining in the evening.

Close to Bars, Restaurants. A short drive from the world famous La Manga Club Golf Resort, Go Carting, Scuba Diving, Tennis and much more.

We like to think that you will feel at home in our apartment with all the facilities and lifes little luxuries catered for. The apartment is suitable for all year round. Although we do not have central heating there is a portable heater should you require it for those colder (few and far between) evenings in the winter.

Further details outdoors:
The property boasts a very large private roof top Solarium terrace where you can dine 'Alfresco' using our own luxury stone build barbecue and sit on our new wooden patio set, or sunbathe on the comfy padded sun loungers and luxury hammock where the sun casts all day sunshine.

The shared outdoor pool is open 31st May until 31st October. The pool has the addition of a jacuzzi to lounge away in and enjoy the sun

There is private secure parking.

Further details

The property has the benefit of being looked after by our English Management team who are only a short distance or phone call away should you need them. They are also able to, should you wish, collect you from the airport and take you to the apartment for a small charge. During your stay they can also arrange to take you on many small excursions to nearby places of interest i.e. Cartagena, Cabo de Palos Sunday Market, or shopping at the nearby newly opened shopping complex amongst others. These can all be arranged direct with them for a small cost.
Also, as part of our property management services, a 24 hour on call Emergency Service will be available in the resort throughout your holiday ensuring you total peace of mind.

Conditions

There is a refundable deposit required on completion of booking. This is to cover any breakables/damages and will be fully refundable after final inspection of the property.

There is a charge of 60.00 euros for final cleaning and linen change to be paid to the Management team upon your arrival.

A late check out fee of £20.00 is charged for any departures after 12.00 midday.

No Hen/Stag parties - responsible people only please.

The Costa Calida region

La Manga is situated in the beautiful Murcia region in southern Spain, blessed with secluded sun-kissed beaches and cooled by the warm breeze from the Mediterranean.

The long strip of land separating the Mediterranean from the Mar Menor (inland sea) is usually only one Kilometre across, which means you always have the choice of two beaches and are surrounded by sea. The Mar Menor is always warm and has a captivating charm with it’s array of fishing and sailing boats and water sports including jet skiing.

The bars and restaurants here pride themselves with quality service and food this is definitely not for the fast food junkies although one burger king has been allowed onto the exclusive La Manga strip. This area is the holiday resort for the Spanish and as such it has a pleasant mixture of holiday facilities but also supports a thriving resident population which speaks volumes for the quality and ambiance of the area, no British pubs or chips with everything!

This region has on average 320 days of sunshine each year. With the low amount of rainfall it is an ideal place for your holiday in both summer and winter. The winters are mild in comparison to that of England.

The La Manga Del Mar Menor / Veneciola area

The immediate area has plenty to offer, there are watersports, golf, go-karting, shops & restaurants and the famous La Manga club is only a short distance from the apartment. The historic towns of Cartagena and Murcia are a short bus or car ride away. The apartment is within easy reach of everything so you'll be spoilt for choice!

Activity ideas:

Golf - There are numerous golf courses in this area and the exclusive La Manga Golf and Tennis club is only 20 minutes away and open to non-members. A new 9 hole course with Leisure and Health Cub facilities has recently opened and is only a 2 minute walk away.
Whether you want a break away with a group of friends or you want to learn how to play golf, La Manga Club is just the right place. The Academy of Golf, one of the best in Europe, provides group and private tuition of the highest standards for all levels, from complete beginners to the most experienced players. Whether you are fine-tuning your technique or learning the rudiments of the game, La Manga Club offers a truly diverse and unique golfing experience. With a choice of three superb, 18-hole championship courses, each with its own unique style and terrain, but all offering tranquil surroundings and many outstanding views, there is something to challenge golfers of all ages and abilities.

Swimming - The Mediterranean and the Mar Menor are safe swimming areas and both are on your doorstep. . The water is shallow and warm making it ideal for small children. The pool/jacuzzi is situated at the back of the building.

Water sports/Windsurfing - all available from the Marina and close to the apartment.

Shopping - A small supermarket opposite the apartment has most of the basic things you need. A very good bakery only a couple of minutes away sells fabulous bread, cakes and ice creams. A larger well stocked supermarked is only 5 mins drive away near the marina. There is also a large shopping complex at nearby Cartegena (the place from where the Spanish armada set sail!) with a huge Carrefour hypermarket and lots of large shops and many smaller designer shops

Local Buses - There is a good local bus service that runs along the length of the strip and only charges just over one euro each and you can get off and on wherever you like all for the one price. This is very regular - every 20 minutes and runs 24 hours a day!

Eating out - the strip boasts a wide variety of restaurants and tapas bars, great local food. Nearby the Thomas Maestre Marina has lots of good quality restaraunts and bars where you can dine out and look at the yachts and boats.

Night-clubs - Situated mainly in hotels on the strip and in the exclusive La Manga club, or at the beginning of the strip which will let you party all through the night.

Torrevieca and Alicante are well worth a visit and for a step back into the history of the area a visit to Murcia and Cartagena is a must.

The apartment could not be easier to get to; only 40 mins from Murcia (St Javier) Airport. Alternatively Alicante is only 90 mins drive and is served by many of the budget airlines.

Murcia is the nearest airport at 40kms from the apartment.

“Great apartment with fantastic roof terrace especially if you want peace and quiet” Apartment as described - situated in a quiet part of the strip. Facilities within apartment were excellent and the private roof terrace with barbecue was the main feature. Note: siesta is from 3-6pm and many local facilities shut down although apartment has easy access to both beeches which were almost empty during siesta time. Bus stop just around the corner at the 17km sign (not marked as bus stop), costs 1euro 5cent to travel anywhere up the strip although no apparent timetable as buses seemed to come at different times each day - beware this is not a 24hr service as our teenagers discovered when coming out of the nightclub at 5am and were dropped off at 13km bus stop (where the marina is)having to walk the remaining 4km. Limited restaurants within walking distance but short bus ride to the marina where there is an excellent supermarket (ATM machine inside is the nearest one to the apt). Great market at the marina on Saturday am - would recommend the spit roasted chicken and ribs. Lovely Mexican restaurant there as well and a number of good bars especially The Lounge. Paddywacks bar at the beginning of the strip (2km zone)was great for the teenagers. Overall we had a great weeks stay in the apartment Response: Thank you for staying at our apartment. “Fantastic - can't wait to go back....” A great place to relax, chill out and enjoy yourself. A great penthouse apartment with everything you need for a cracking holiday. Sunbathe by the pool, on the terrace, by the med and even the Mar Menor (lovely and warm). There's loads to do and the area is clean and safe and would suit any type of holiday makers. We had a great BBQ which is loads of fun and the views from the apartment are fantastic. Would highly recommend. Response: Thank you for the great review. You are welcome back anytime.

"Fantastic penthouse apartment, immaculately clean and modern with all the amenities we needed, in a brilliant location just a few minutes walk from both the Mar Menor beach and the Mediterranean sea, local supermarkets, restaurants and bars.
The roof terrace was amazing, the largest we have ever seen with views of both beaches. It was fantastic for sunbathing, enjoying a leisurely breakfast, barbecuing in the evenings on the stone built BBQ and enjoying drinks as the sun goes down. Mr and Mrs Barnet, Rutland, Leicestershire
