About the home

A superb 3 bed Penthouse apartment with massive roof top solarium and views over the beautiful Mar Menor inland sea, La Manga strip and the surrounding hills of Murcia. In addition to the roof top solarium there is a balcony off the lounge, ideal for an evening drink prior to going to the many excellent local restaurants in Los Belones, Pablo de Cabos and the La Manga strip. Within the development there is a child friendly private community swimming pool with extensive decking and loungers and only 400 metres from the quiet beach and the warm shallow waters of the Mar Menor inland sea.

The apartment could not be easier to get to; only 20 mins from Murcia (St Javier) airport with a new International Airport due to open in Murcia 2009. Alternatively Alicante is only 55mins drive and is served by many of the budget airlines such as Ryan Air, Easyjet, Thomson Fly and many others.

Conditions

Conditions:
A refundable security/damage deposit of £100 is required at time of booking
Access on arrival will be after 1700 hrs and before 2000hrs otherwise there will be a late access fee of 10 euros before 2400hrs and 20 euros after this time.
Departure on the last day must be by 1200 hrs and the keys returned to the management agent.
On arrival, the Guests have to pay 75 euros to the management company for the laundry and exit clean
No smoking inside the apartment, although you can smoke on the balconies
Bookings for 2 or more weeks will receive a 10% discount if booked before 31 July 2010.
No Pets allowed

The Costa Calida region

The region of Costa Blanca or Costa Dorado is one of Spains sunniest regions, and has over 300 days sunshine a year. The beaches by Mar de Crystal are located on the shores of the Mar Menor which is a large inland sea which is about 12mtrs deep at the deepest point and is ideal for all kinds of water sports.

Murcia has a world renowned reputation for its warm climate and all year round sunshine, an ideal location for Summer or Winter holidays. The region is renowned for its friendly unspoilt traditional villages unlike the large multi storey Costas.

The apartment is located 400 metres from the waters edge of the Mar Menor and surrounded by this warm, shallow waters of this renowned inland sea, famous for its' extensive water sports and water based activities.

The La Manga Del Mar Menor / Mar De Cristal area

Cartagena and the capital city of Murcia are must places to visit to gfully experience the history of the area. During the high season then a cruise down the La Manga Strip at night is an experience to saviour with a wide range of shops open until late.

Golf activities in the area
The apartment is in the La Manga region of Murcia and 5 mins from the world famous La Manga Golf Resort with its three courses. There are over a dozen courses within 20 minutes and 20+ courses within a 30 minutes drive time.

Courses such as the new Hacienda del Alamo 18 holes, par 72 course is over 6740 m (white) and 6375 m (yellow) and promoted by Miguel Angel Jimnez. Then there is the Dave Thomas Roda Golf one of the most prestigious European golf designers. The layout was created by combining different environments and working for a total adaptation to the Mediterranean landscape and vegetation and is a very enjoyable course.

Designed by Nicklaus, the La Torre Golf Resort course offers 18 holes, par 68 and four sets of tees. La Torre is set within a landscape area containing over five hectares of sophisticated bunkers that separate the holes.

By air - you can fly by Ryanair to Murcia Airport (St Javier) 20 mins drive or Budget Airlines to Alicante (about 55mins drive). There is a new airport opening at Murcia in 2009/10 which will bring even easier to get to Murcia.

By Road - Travel along the AP-7 heading for "La Manga/Cartagena". At the junction of Los Beatos, take the MU-312 road sign posted "La Manga", this will take you past the turning for Los Belones after which you take the next right turning to Mar de Crystal (Exit 14) The road goes over the road you have just exited (MU-312) and you go over an inter change towards the blocks of apartments at Mar de Crystal.
