Home description
The apartment is on the 3rd floor, looking out from the balcony over the Med. There is a sea view through every window, either of the Med or the Mar Menor, with it's stunning sunsets. It is equipped and furnished to a very high standard, including a Jacuzzi bath in the en suite, for our and our family's use for the out-of-season months.
It is in a quiet and peaceful location with restaurants and a small supermarket within walking distance. One of the best restaurants on La Manga strip is immediately opposite, right on the beach of Mar Menor and can be seen on the photo from the lounge window. There is a bus stop opposite which runs every hour and a 9-hole golf course within walking distance next to the nature reserve.
Just 3.5kms away is the Thomas Maestre marina with many good bars and restaurants where you can eat and drink right at the water's edge! . It is an ideal centre for water sports. You can take a ferry over to Santiago with it's beach seafood restaurants and children's play areas and funfair.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
This is very much an unspoilt area of Spain. There is no concrete jungle here! It is one of the big horticultural areas of Spain and you will see fruit and vegetables being grown and harvested on both sides as you travel the roads and motorways.
You will find a lot of small and traditional restaurants and bars serving traditional and tasty food and the locals will be happy to share their knowledge of the region and its history.
The Mar Menor helps make the town a paradise for bathers and watersports enthusiasts. The mineral rich water of the Mar Menor is revered for its health giving properties and the town still has thermal baths which have existed since roman times.
There are a few celebration periods in the town, which are the last 3 days in March when there is a Medieval market and numerous events in recollection of times of peace.
La Manga Del Mar Menor / La Manga Strip area
The Mar Menor is the largest salt water lagoon in Europe with over 40km of beaches. It has a high salt content and is thus very bouyant. It is pleasantly warm all year round and shallow. Even at 50m out it is still only about 1m deep. It is a prime location for watersports, with just about every sport available.
There are numerous golf courses in the area including the world renown La Manga Club, which is only 20km away. Several Polaris World courses are also within 20 mins drive from La Manga Club. There is a small 9-hole course within walking distance from Euromarina Towers, next to the wildlife sanctuary.

Budget airlines Ryanair, Easyjet, Monarch, Bmi baby, Jet2 and Flybe from many provincial airports into Murcia / San Javier (preferable) or Alicante.

Price includes our "Meet and Greet" service and all cleaning costs. Our Property Managers will meet you at Murcia airport, or a pre-arranged location if arriving at Alicante airport. They will hand over the keys and give you directions to the apartment. There is a charge of £36 if you wish to be accompanied to the apartment, though this should not be necessary as it is easy to find. An additional £20 per week surcharge will apply to bookings for 5-6 occupants. Airport transfers can be pre-booked at extra cost.
A 25% deposit is required to secure a booking with the balance due 6 weeks before departure.
A security deposit of £150 is required with final payment. This will be returned to you after your departure and following inspection by our property managers.
