Our house is situated just two minutes’ walk from a safe sandy beach on the Mar Menor. Quiet and tranquil - busy in Summer - with easy access to all amenities, including supermarkets, great colourful local markets and many excellent restaurants for eating out.
The house benefits from a lovely communal pool, with a separate shallow pool for children. Leading from the master bedroom is a spacious balcony with views over the communal pool. Two double bedrooms upstairs and one twin bedroom downstairs which is situated next to the shower room, the villa is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay. The historic cities of Cartagena and Murcia are close by. Lots of golf courses within ten minutes' drive.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
Loved by the Spanish this area has not been over run by tourists. It offers fabulous safe beaches for children, especially along the Mar Menor. The temperature of the Mar Menor water can reach 30 degrees c in the height of the season and children happily paddle and swim out of season. The Mar Menor has many therapeutic properties, used to treat arthritis, rheumatism, skin problems and more and is the largest in Europe. The water is very calm and tranquil. Los Alcazares is a nice place to visit, start with Pepes bar for an English breakfast, then enjoy the beautiful beaches and small selection of shops. The beautiful historic cities of Cartagena and Murcia are well worth a visit.

In the immediate surroundings there are various bars and restaurants just minutes walk along the bench, great for those nights when you what to stay local. Then there is plenty more to do within ten minute drive or taxi journey heres a few below
The world Famous La Manga Club Golf Resort is situated within ten minutes drive here is a communal swimming pool near to the tennis courts, sports facilities are available including tennis, football, squash and the world famous golf course. The club also boasts a great selection of restaurants, including Si bar, great for families with the outdoor kids area, lots of English families to mix with and entertainment for adults and kids on most evenings. each of the kids holiday weeks every night the Si bar has a kids entertainer from 6pm to 9pm (2pm to 5pm on Sundays) and kids eat free with a paying adult, youll all love it!. The Hyatt 5 star hotel is worth a visit, great food and who knows who you might meet!
The Sunday market at Cabo de Palos (10 minutes drive) is not to be missed! You can dine in the square where the Indians play their fantastic music at Las Dunas, pizzas and pastas are great. The chinese restaurant is 5 minutes walk opposite the Mercadona supermarket, quality food, cheap and friendly.
The La Manga Strip is located ten minutes drive away which has numerous bars restaurants etc located throughout its length of the strip, just a couple of recommendations Paddy Wacks located at the start of the strip great entertainment and good pub food. Second Gregorys Argentian Steak House located half way up the strip good for a special night quite expensive in conparison to the other restaurants but worth it.

A deposit of a £100 cheque to be paid when booking (for non UK residents alternative arrangements can be arranged).This deposit will reserve your holiday and is non refundable.The balance is to be paid 6 weeks before departure, or as soon as the holiday is booked if after this time. An additional £100 cheque is required when paying the remaining balance. This acts as security in the event of damage to the property. As long as there is no damage to the property the full £100 will be refunded after your departure, by post.
There is also now a final cleaning charge that must be added to the cost of the holiday at a cost of 55 euros. This is payable direct to holiday management. If further cleans are needed in the term of your stay this can also be arrange through the management.
