A fantastic luxury beach side brand new apartment with community pool with stunning sea views. The apartment is light and spacious and has a lovely aspect and is immaculately furnished with modern up to date furniture. The patio doors, neutral colours and high ceilings make this a wonderful place to enjoy a relaxing holiday.

The Mar Menor is 12 meters from the apartment, with the beaches of the Mediterranean only 120meters away. Imagine swimming in the warm shallow waters of the Mar Menor, ideal for children and so full of salt that the water provides additional buoyancy. There are outside showers so you never need to stay sandy or salty for long. In an excellent location on the doorstep of the Tomas Maestre Marina (350m walk) with its 'cafe lifestyle' bars and restaurants, beautiful marina and boat trips around the Mar Menor. With 12 restaurants and bars to choose from you will be able to dine out at the different place every night. There are pizzarias, tapas bars, a french restaurant, greek etc and El Mosquito Restaurant with excellent cocktails for a really good night out.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region

Nestling at the bottom of the Costa Blanca, the Costa Calida is one of the least known and most unspoilt regions of Spain, guaranteed to give you a taste of "real Spain".

With over 315 days of sunshine every year it is little wonder that the Costa Calida means "warm coast" and the unspoilt inland waters of the Mar Menor, the largest natural lagoon in Europe, offer safe and warm water bathing all year round.

The area is best know for the La Manga Club resort, renowned for its three championship golf courses, LTA Tennis Centre Training Ground and being the training ground of visiting football teams from Spain, the UK and the whole of Europe. There are over 22 tennis courts with the option of booking tennis coaching on an hourly or weekly basis. Short tennis, squash courts, bowling green and pitch and putt to name but a few of the sporting attractions. The Hyatt hotel is a fabulous 5 Star hotel and more, with Pool Restaurant and now the newly opened Spa. Spoil yourself with a treatment from a manicure to the full 90 minute signature Lavender Massage with facial. For the evening there are over 30 restaurants and bars to dine in and to relax and enjoy yourself. These range in style and price from the Amapola Restaurant at the Hyatt which is superb but a little expensive to Si bar for inexpensive dining with family entertainment.

The area has so much to offer, it doesnt stop at La Manga Club. There are 8 further golf courses of an excellent standard, and a further 12 under development.

La Manga Strip ... the "sleeve" of land that runs from Cabo de Palos in the south to San Pedro in the north is 18km long and encloses the warm tranquil waters of the Mar Menor to the west and has the livelier colder Mediterranean to the east. The Strip is up to 1km wide in parts and in others is is merely 100m allowing only for the road to run through with a beach on either side. La Manga Strip is a town in its own right, albeit an long thin one! There are shopping centres, restaurants and bars set in plazas or squares. The marina at the Puerto Tomas Maestre is beautiful and houses some stunning boats and yachts that most of us can only dream of, but the restaurants are great and the atmosphere is wonderful.

Water sports ... well there could not be a better or safer place to learn to sail, jet ski or kite board. The area has a number of sailing schools with a wide range of boats and dinghies on which to learn to sail or to brush up your sailing skills. Diving is a popular sport and there are a number of different diving schools offering anything from the beginners course to night dives for the more expereinced diver. The dive around Isla Grosa, for example, takes around 1 hour and takes your through the magnificent quartz caves.

La Manga Del Mar Menor / Tomas Maestre Marina area

This narrow strip of land 18km miles long offers the choice of two seas - the Mar Menor on one side, ideal for watersports and the Mediterranean, perfect for fishing and underwater exploration. Down `the strip' you'll find a host of restaurants and bars to choose from and soak up the buzzing nightlife of Plaza Bohemia and Zoco.

Further down is Tomas Maestre marina with over one thousand moorings and a range of bars and restaurants.
The marina is beautiful and smart and the yachts are just amazing. The choice of restaurants is great with Greek, French, Spanish, Italian. For those less adventurous there are burger bars as well. There is a commercial centre within 100m from the apartment with supermarket, restaurants, boat hire, hair dressers, shoe and handbag shops! A bit further on the main road 300m is another supermarket, pharmacy, banks with ATM. There are two children's playgrounds within 350m of the apartment.

This is a really beautiful area with stunning beaches and plenty to do, however it has a very calm and tranquil atmosphere. Everyone who visits comes back and most of us would swap our lifestyle for that of the "marina lifestyle".

The apartment benefits from air conditioning in every bedroom and the lounge. With under floor heating throughout if it should turn chilly. The apartment has access via a lift and stairwell and there is a plenty of off road parking.
Entrance hall leads to a large lounge dinner with TV, DVD and Stereo. Large terrace with fantastic views towards the Marina and of the islands in the Med. Inner hallway leads to a Master bedroom with fitted wardrobes and patio doors to the main terrace. Bathroom with shower over bath, wc and bidet. Bedrooms 2 & 3 are twin bedrooms with fitted wardrobes. Bathroom 2 is fully fitted with shower over bath. Elegant style fully fitted kitchen with washing machine.

Cot and high chair available on request, free of charge.

ANY day change over to allow you to take advantage of those cheaper mid week flights. Taxi transfers from Alicante or Murcia airports on request. You DONT need a car ... it is all here. Prices include linen and towels, but you must bring your own beach towels. Welcome pack of tea coffee, milk and sugar, water, wine and juice will be provided and other items available upon request. Mid term change of linen and clean, for all bookings over 10 days.

Further details outdoors:
Tennis court in neighbouring apartment block for use of the apartments at Frente de Marina as well. Lovely community pool which is well maintained and in its own grassy garden with trees for shade. The pool is normally quite quiet as most people are on the beach. Boat trips, day trips or just a ferry ride available down at the Marina from 5euros per trip. Jet Ski hire on the beach 100m away, as well as pedaloes. Beach bars and restaurants.
