The Verdemar III apartment is a spacious luxury 2 bedroom apartment with large terrace, set in lovely landscaped gardens with palm trees. It has an outdoor pool with spa (summer months) and an Indoor pool with sauna (winter months). It also has a children's play area and indoor gym. The complex also offers secure video link entrance and secure car parking.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
The Mar Menor region is ideal for sport and recreation. The gentle warm waters of the Mar Menor are an ideal place to learn and enjoy doing all kinds of water sports, whilst the natural healing properties of the waters are widely renown and very popular with the Spanish community. The average annual temperature here is 17ºC and the average during the summer is above 21ºC. The winters are very mild, very rarely falling below 10ºC.
La Manga Del Mar Menor / Playa Honda area
Playa Honda is a small Village situated on the beaches of the Mar Menor (Europe's largest salt water lagoon) which is in the province of Murcia. This coastal area boasts one of the most moderate climates in Spain, with more sunshine than mainland areas and water temperatures higher than the average. The shallow waters and absence of tides make it ideal for children and a paradise for all types of water sport lovers, for which there are many teaching facilities in the surrounding area. Verdemar III is also well located for the golfer. The nearest course being the renown La Manga Club approximatley an 8 minute drive away. Also, nearby for nature lovers, walkers and cyclist's there is the Calblanque National Park Nature Reserve / tranquil beaches. Playa Honda is nestled between La Manga Strip which is well known for it's night life and has a wide variety of restaurants and bars, Cabo De Palos with it's quaint marina and wide variety of fish restaurants and weekly sunday market, also Los Belones with it's weekly village market and cafes all within 5 minutes drive. Within Playa Honda village itself are a handful of bars and restaurants offering good food and friendly service and also two small local supermarkets with a good selection of Spanish and British food. The City of Cartegena predates to the Roman period. It has many places of archaeological interest, as well as a modern Marina and a variety of designer shops in the old town. A new addition for the shopaholic is the large new shopping centre (Espacio Mediterraneo) all within a 15 minute drive.
How to get there
Playa Honda is approximately 20 minutes drive from Murcia airport (San Javier). An alternative airport is Alicante, which is approximately one hours drive away. There are many low cost airlines flying to both destinations. We can offer airport collections from Murcia airport.

Conditions
Strictly no smoking except on terrace. £100 additional deposit is taken to secure your booking and held against cancellation, damage to property or loss of keys, which will be refundable subject to conditions. If full payment is not received by the date agreed (normally 6 weeks prior to holiday) we reserve the right to cancel your booking in writing and make the dates available to let at the loss of any deposit previously made. The apartment will be available from 16.00hrs on day of arrival and vacated by 12.00hrs on day of departure. (flexible with prior agreement depending on bookings).
