Apartment Tony is located just two minutes walk from the beach, situated on the tranquil Mar Menor which is still and warm all year round making it ideal for children. Quiet and peaceful, yet only ten minutes from the hustle and bustle of the La Manga Strip and La Manga Club Golf Resort. The apartment has easy access to all amenities, including the local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out.
The apartment benefits from an outdoor communal pool, secured by a gate and a lovely entertainment area with communal barbecue. Leading from the living room is a spacious balcony with stunning sea views, furnished with a table and chairs as well as a gas paella cooker to enable you to dine al fresco. The beautiful oak dining table seating for 6 people is also available for the wintery months. With one double bedroom and a 3 seater sofa bed in the lounge, the apartment is ideal for a family of 4 or for a romantic couple, with plenty to see and do in the surrounding area during your stay.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region

This region has on average 320 days of sunshine each year. With the low amount of rainfall it is an ideal place for your holiday in both summer and winter. The winters are mild in comparison to that of England.

Playa Honda is a small village with a selection of restaurants and a supermarket.

The village is located on the edge of the famous Mar Menor which offers a whole host of water sports to suit anyone from novice to expert. The Mar Menor is also famous for The Black Mud which is said to releive pain from rheumatism, arthritis and many other ailments including some skin conditions.

The water temperature of the Mar Menor in summer reaches 30c and therefore is a good spot for families with young children as the Mar Menor also benefits from shallow waters.

La Manga Del Mar Menor / Playa Honda area

Playa Honda is an up and coming area with a wide selection of restaurants and a supermarket.
The Mar Menor enables you to try your hand at many water sports including scuba diving, wind surfing and water skiing to name but a few. Even if you havn´t tried any of these before, there are skilled instructors with all the equipment you need. The land around the Mar Menor is relatively flat which makes it ideal for walking and cycling, there are 2 specializes mountain bikes in the apartment for your use.

Approximately 10 minutes drive away is the world famous La Manga Golf Club which offers championship golf courses as well as tennis, spa facilities and a wide selection of bars and restaurants to sample.


The nearby villages have markets on various days of the week and these provide a large selection of fruit & vegetables, meat, fish, household items and many other products. There are also many more shops and restaurants which offer national and international cuisine at very reasonable prices. A full sized go-kart track aswell as horse riding is a popular attraction.

Fly to Murcia, Sain Javier Airport - Apartment Tony is just 30 km from the airport approximately 20 minutes drive door to door.
Cheap flights available from Ryanair.co.uk and Easyjet.co.uk to Murcia, Sain Javier airport.
Car hire available from Europa car hire, Budget, Mar Sol and many budget car hire companies.
There are always local taxis available - fare should be no more than 20 euros.

The apartment has Sky TV, a DVD player or you could relax on the balcony with a game of chess. Ceiling fans keep the apartment cool in the summer and heaters keep it warm in the winter months. 2 sets of snorkelling gear and 2 specialized mountain bicycles are avaible to use which is a great way to see the La Manga Strip and surrounding areas.

The outside area is kept clean and the pool is immaculate. Parking spaces in front of the apartment are available for your own use.

A guest book with information on restaurants, bars, markets, beautiful beaches in the area and places to go is available in the apartment. If you do stumble upon a gem please make sure you write it in the book for the next guests. A bottle of wine will be waiting for you on arrival but be sure to leave one for the the next guests. On your departure a cleaner will clean the apartment at a cost of 25 euros, to be left in the apartment.

Conditions

Strictly no smoking except on the balcony.
Refundable breakages deposit of £50 required before your holiday, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
£50 - £100 deposit due when making booking to secure booking.
There is a lift in the apartment building providing wheelchair access.
