The apartment is approximately 300m from the beach, small marina, shops and beach bars/ restaurants. A 15 to 20 minute walk brings you to a lovely picturesque village of Los Belones, which has national and international restaurants at very reasonable prices.
La Manga Club is around 5 minutes by car and this offers championship golf courses, tennis courts, spa facilities and also a very good selection of bars and restaurants. The La Manga strip which is also about a 5 minute drive is a busy area that has a large selection of shops, hotels, bars and nightlife. Also located here is a wide choice of water sports in 1 of the 10 centres located along the strip.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
The Costa Calida is on the South East coast and is the driest region of Spain, enjoying an average of 320 days of sunshine each year. It is therefore ideal for holidays all year round.
The Mar Menor is the largest salt water lake in Europe which is linked to the Mediterranean and famous for its Therapeutic Properties. It enjoys warm shallow waters as part of the inland sea, and its ideal for all water sports. The waters of the Mar Menor are warmer than the Mediterranean reaching 30 degrees in the summer months.
The Mar Menor is also famous for The Black Mud which is said to have therapeutic qualities that help in the treatment of some skin conditions, rheumatism, arthritis and many other ailments.
There are approximatly 42 Kilometres of beaches and the area around the Mar Menor is relatively flat and has numerous villages along the coastline. This makes it an ideal area for walking or cycling. The Calblanque National Park is located just a few mins away.
La Manga Del Mar Menor / Mar De Cristal area
There are activities to suit all ages within a 5-10 min drive from the apartment, these include horse riding, go-karting, tennis, golfing, football and rugby schools and a vast range of water sports including scuba diving, sailing schools, snorkeling, canoueing, water and jet skiing and many more.
La Manga club is around 5 minutes by car and this offers numerous championship golf courses, tennis courts, spa facilities and many other activities. Within the club there is a good selection of bars and restaurants and other facilities which are open to the public all year round.
There are various markets in the neighboring villages and during the summer months a market comes to Mar de Cristal. These sell a good selection of fruit & vegetables, meat, fish, clothing, belts and footwear, household goods and much more.
The historic town of Cartegena has a wide variety of museums, shops and a casino, which is a 20 mins drive away.
How to get there
The nearest Airport is Murcia ( San Javier ) Which is approximately 20 Minutes from the apartment. The next nearest airport is Alicante which is approximatly 50 minutes from the Apartment. These airports are used by many of the low cost airlines including easy jet and ryanair.

This a huge space for eating, drinking and sunbathing and includes a BBQ. The communal pool is situated in the centre of the complex. Both the garden area and the communial pool area are gated so are ideal for families with young children.
Conditions
