This excellent modern well maintained villa is set in a quiet road within walking distance of the beach, restaurants , bars. Many outdoor sports are available in la manga, sailing, kite surfing, scuba diving ,cycling. The unique attraction of the area is the two seas. The mar menor(europes largest salt water lagoon) is just half a minute walk from the villa or the mediterranean five minute walking distance. Children's theme park (in season) there are many golf resorts within 30 minutes by car.the famous la manga club is just a 10 minute drive. Enjoy the sports or just take have a relaxing quite holiday and sunbathe on the safe clean beaches or in your own private garden.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
Region of Murcia There are two main cities in the region Cartagena and the regions capital Murcia. Cartagena has an historic port and harbour area. Murcia is a typical Spanish city with wide avenues and plazas. La Manga is a popular area for tourists and Spanish people to spend the summer holidays with Cablo de Palos a small fishing harbour at one end of the La Manga Strip. You can wander round the harbour area and watch the fishermen prepare for a day out at sea, walk around the quaint streets and sample some of the finest seafood restaurants around the area.
La Manga means ‘sleeve’ and it is a strip of land 21km long which separates the Mediterranean Sea from the shallow gentle waters of the almost enclosed Mar Menor make it ideal for families with children whilst the cool Mediterranean glistens in the background. Situated by two seas you can choose between them for where to spend your days.
Various water sports are available with windsurfing, diving, fishing, canoing and many more. Along it’s coast on both sides, there are beautiful ‘Blue Flag’ beaches with white sands, ideal for family holidays. your days.
The climate of this region, renowned for its "eternal spring" qualities, makes the area an all year round holiday destination. Perfect for those looking for peace and quiet in winter and ideal in summer for the more traditional holiday.
The area is easily accessible from both Alicante and Murcia Airports. Taxis or Car hire are readily available at both airports
Sight Seeing Cartagena is an old Roman City with lots of historical attractions to visit. Let the tourist boat take you around the docks of Cartagena and enjoy the breathtaking views of the sea and city. If you prefer to tour the town jump on the tourist bus and visit the most important and interesting sights throughout Cartagena. Step off at each stop and visit the many attractions including the Castle of La Concepcion and the Panoramic Lift. The Coastal city of Cartagena was founded in pre Roman times and has several archaeological remains even a Roman amphitheater. The port city has a large marina the waterfront has several restaurants and bars. The city is a working port and also a naval base and is very proud of it’s history. During September there is a major Fiesta where the residents dress as Romans and Carthaginians and party well into the early hours.
La Manga Del Mar Menor / La Manga Strip area
Beaches La Manga has miles of sandy beaches lined with sun beds and parks for children to play. One side is the Mar Menor with its warm shallow waters ideal for water sports and children to play. The other side is the Blue Mediterranean Sea with its white waves and cool sea breeze. Los Alcazares has Q awarding winning beaches. The miles of sandy beaches are lined with sun beds and parasols, a great place to spend the day. The fine sand and warm Mar menor waters are very popular with holidaymaker's and local Spanish people. Along the wide promenade there are many bars, restaurants and children's play areas.
The area has many fine award winning beaches including the Mar Menor the largest lagoon in Europe. The crystal clear waters are warm, calm and rich in salts and minerals, in fact the temperature never falls below 18degrees.
In certain areas of the Mar Menor the therapeutic clays can be found, these are a favourite with the Spanish tourists. If you cover your self with the clay and then bake in the hot sun. It is said to be good for skin complaints including rheumatism and arthritis.
Shops & Restaurants La Manga has many bars and restaurants that line the main road running through the strip. You can find numerous restaurants serving Mediterranean, Spanish, Chinese, English and Indian Cuisine. Along with many bars and ice cream shops to relax and enjoy a drink. Along the beaches there are snack bars serving light refreshments and ice creams with great views over the Mar Menor and Mediterranean Sea.
The La Manga harbour area has many restaurants and bars overlooking the moored boats and calm waters. The cool refreshing breeze by the water front is an ideal place to have a walk and enjoy an evening meal. There are many plaza areas that have an array of souvenir & gift shops, supermarkets, clothes shops and much more. As you drive through the main road during the summer months you will be amazed at the numerous restaurants, bars and shops.
Murcia and Cartagena have a wide selection of high street brand shops, department stores and large hypermarkets. Dos Mares shopping complex in San Javier has a selection of high street shops, supermarket, amusements and food court area.
Essential for any holiday is a large variety of restaurants and bars. La Manga and the surrounding area offers the tourists a wide range of cuisine to choose from, including, Spanish, Greek, Indian, Chinese, English, Mexican and American. The Tomas Maestre Marina comes alive at night with its many bars and restaurants where local and tourists gather for an evening out.
There is an open air market, throughout the year, every Sunday at Cabo de Palos, where you can buy luxury leather goods at ridiculous prices and ‘Rolex’ watches for a few Euros.
The famous Spanish department store El Court Ingles, which can be found at Cartagena and Murcia – this is not to be missed. Cartagena and Murcia have large high streets with many Spanish high street brands. Dos Mares shopping complex is situated in San Javier off the main motorway and has shops, restaurants, bowling and other amusements.
