This luxury 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment is situated in an ideal location directly overlooking the sea with unrestricted views and direct access onto the beach from the communal pool area.

The apartment is beautifully furnished and well equipped, comprising of spacious lounge with patio doors leading onto a balcony which overlooks the Mediterranean.

Fully fitted kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms with fitted wardrobes. Everything has been supplied for a self catering holiday.

Locally you can also find, go-karting, watersports (including jet-skis, windsurfing, scuba diving) and horse riding. This area has everything you could wish for a either relaxing in the sun or an activity holiday.

The Costa Calida region

The La Manga Strip is 22Km of land which juts out from the Costa Calida coast and creates the South west surround of the Mar Menor (Little Sea). Within the province of Murcia, it boasts 322 days of sunshine a year, and has one of the mildest climates of Spain. This has resulted in the name Coast Calida - "The Warm Coast"

The golf courses Mosa Trajectum at San Javier, Molina de Segura at Altoreal, Hacienda del Alamo at Fuente Alamo and Torre Pacheco are within 30 minutes, Villamartin, Campoamor, Las Ramblas all at Orithuela and the Finca at Algorfa are 45 minutes drive away. New courses at Polaris World are now open and La Manga Club is only 25 minutes away.

The fishing port of Cabo de Palos (with an abundance of restaurants overlooking the harbour and promenade) a 20 minute drive away. The small Spanish town of Los Belones which also has several excellent restaurants and bars is about a 25 minute drive.

The historic cities of Cartagena, (30 minutes ) drive and Murcia (one hour ) are easily accessible if a car is hired. Local transport will also take you to these locations.

The La Manga Del Mar Menor / La Manga Strip area

Situated 45 minutes drive from Murcia (San Javier) airport and 1½ hour drive from Alicante, this region favored by many Spanish offers a unique coastal feature called the Mar Menor. The blue lagoon sea with crystalline waters is ideal for swimming and water sports. The Mar Menor is a large salt water lake almost entirely sealed off from the Mediterranean by the peninsular of La Manga. The largest salt water lake in Europe it is only 7m at its deepest point and along its shores it has an average depth of only 0.5m making it extremely safe for children. This warm and tranquil lake also has other health giving benefits, a natural swimming pool with warm temperatures it also has a high saline content which is therapeutic for sufferers of arthritis, rheumatism and skin conditions when they coat themselves in the black mud which can be found at points along the shores. In contrast, if you get too warm in the Mar Menor you can simply pick up your towel and walk two hundred yards and find yourself on the beautiful white beaches of the Mediterranean with its cooling breezes.

On the strip you will find a host of restaurants, shops and bars to choose from. The Zoco and Plaza Bohemia areas being particularly popular.

The nearby Tomas Maestre Marina is smart and cosmopolitan with a vast range of quality restaurants and bars. For the more lively, some bars offer live entertainment and dancing. Alternatively you can simply admire the fading sunset over the Mar Menor which can be spectacular. Around the Marina are all the facilities you would expect, including boutiques, supermarkets, banks, chemist and hairdressers.

Within a minutes walk of the apartment there are 2 quality restaurants, a convenience store, bakery and fruit and vegetable shop.

Whilst there is plenty to do, the area is not noisy and provides a relaxing and tranquil holiday for couples and families of all ages.

“Total chillout” I have recently stayed at this apartment with my husband. The apartment is very easy to find from the airport with excellent directions off the owner. We ordered a welcome hamper due to our arrival being late in the evening, it was extremely sufficient for our initial needs including all the essentials to begin our holiday like tea, coffee, butter, bread etc. The apartment overlooks the pool and has a private access directly onto the beach. It has some lovely local restaurants and within a 10min drive there is a marina with numerous restaurants and bars to suit everyone. Overall it is ideal for a number of types of holiday ie: totally relaxing, or an ideal base for visiting the many attractions and if you enjoy walking the beaches are numerous and the National Park is amazing.
