The Costa Calida/Murcia region
The Costa Calida sits to the south of the Costa Blanca in the south-east of Spain but is far less developed than its more well known neighbour. The area has a magnificent climate with plenty of sunshine and very little rain. Even in winter temperatures rarely drop below 10°.
The area offers plenty to do with many golf courses and watersports facilities nearby. There is an excellent PADI diving school within a mile away offering courses March-October, they also offer Boat diving and Snorkelling.The nearby old port and town of Cartagena is a short drive away and the regional capital Murcia is well worth a visit.

One of the beauties of La Manga is that you can experience both the excellent beaches of the Meditterean, including a number of Blue Flag beaches, and the many sheltered beaches and shallow warm waters of the Mar Menor. The Mar Menor also has a wide variety of watersport activities that are suitable for both children and adults for the more active.
For those wanting to relax the Mar Menor boasts therapeutic qualities and people travel for all over to bathe in the waters and use the clay/mud treatments.

Regular buses up and down the La manga strip all year round, Also Coach services to Murcia and Cartagena. B+F ferries operate daily out of Puerto Tomas Maestre(La Manga).

How to get there
. The two closest airports to the apartment are Murcia San Javier Airport (40 minutes drive away) and Alicante El Altet Airport (1 hour 20 minutes drive away). Regular flights operate to both airports from most mainland UK airports. As of April 4th o8 Ryanair fly out off Bournemouth airport to Murcia San Javier.

Further details indoors: A fantastic beach side brand new apartment with community pool with stunning sea views. The apartment is light and spacious and is furnished with brand new furniture. The patio doors, neutral colours and high ceilings make this a great place to enjoy a relaxing holiday.
Entrance hall leads to a large lounge diner with TV. There is a large balcony with fantastic views towards the Marina and the islands in the Med. There is a table and 6 chairs on the balcony. The Inner hallway leads to a Master bedroom with fitted wardrobes and patio doors to the main balcony. Bathroom with shower over bath, WC and bidet. Bedrooms 2 has twin beds, and fitted wardrobes. Bathroom 2 is fully fitted, with a shower over the bath and a bidet.
The kitchen has a tall upright fridge freezer, oven and hob, (No Microwave), and plenty of storage space. There is an electric kettle, toaster. There is a small utility room with washing machine, iron, ironing board, and clothes airer.
The apartment benefits from air conditioning throughout, and under floor heating if the weather should turn cool. The apartment has access via a lift or stairs and there is a plenty of off road parking.
Further details outdoors: There are two pools and a short-tennis court on site and the beaches of the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean are only a short distance away. There are restaurants, bars, shops and many other amenities nearby. .

Cleaning and laundry is included in the rates. Linen and towels are provided, but not beach towels. A welcome pack can be made available at a charge of €20, paid locally. A mid stay clean is available at €25.
There is no set changeover day. Apartment may not be ready for occupation before 3pm? Unless by prior agreement the apartment must be vacated by 10.30 am. A 25% non-refundable deposit secures the booking. Full balance of payment must be made 6 weeks prior to holiday commencement. Also a £100 (150 euro) Refundable breakages deposit to be paid with balance.
